It replace letters with @ then try’s to read that mess. Sounds like garbage Update: Received a response from developer, why they didn’t post it here is a bit fishy I think. In response I’m being accused being competitor or computer. That I dint appreciate the Mac voices. I use a Mac why would I have anything against it? Tried responding to developer and nothing. There is no report a problem button, their web page is a dead link, nothing I can find works for this app as far getting someone. Also I noticed that my review didn’t become part of their reviews which leads me to believe they omit reviews they don’t like. I have never experienced it replacing letters with @ nor have I heard of anyone else having that issue and to say it sounds like garbage means they don’t appreciate the Mac voices from Apple that I’ve been showing off on TikTok (btw find me on TikTok by searching “Easy Text to Speech Reader”!) ### 1/5 — ads *2026-06-20* the app is good and I’ll definitely be using it but I got 10 ads in less than 5 minutes which DEFINITELY shouldn’t be happening so I’m just gonna leave this review here **Developer response:** For anyone worried about the ads I am using 1/2 of what Musi did in their app. Eventually it will show an ad every other time you press “Start Speaking” but the audio from your TTS will play and the ad will be muted (so you can hear your audio). Anyways I was always a fan of Musi and they did that every-time you hit “Play” (or you could purchase their ad-free version for $6 like mine but also my ad-free/pro version also lets you export your TTS to an audio file with one tap and easily share it anywhere or save it) ### 1/5 — Aweful *2026-06-19* This app sucks! I have tried several and they were free upfront, and then charged a subscription for anything useful. So far, this app is entirely usable with limited advertisements and no-cost features. I learned about it on reddit and, of course, they had the right of it when it came to a non-sponsored opinion on the internet. I truly appreciate this application.
