It is also good for developing your listening skills. I have the Manee book which I'm using to learn how to read Thai. This app is helping me with the pronunciation and meaning of words. Before this app, a lot of my time was spent trying to find the definition of a Thai word (which is not always easy), figuring out the tone of the word, and how to pronounce words with compound vowels. The app developer has saved me a lot of time and frustration. I eagerly await for the remaining lessons. Note: you can’t jump in without learning how to read first. I suggest the book “read Thai in 10 days: by bingo-lingo” to help too. This app is beginner friendly, instead of drowning you in complicated sentences. I firmly believe learning languages like a kid is the most effective method.
