FAQ

What does Easy Vision Log do?

Easy Vision Log is a smartphone application designed to help you easily record and track your vision measurements. It uses your smartphone's screen to display optotypes like Landolt rings or E charts, and allows you to adjust their size based on your distance from the device.

How can I use the app to track my vision?

The app records your measurement results each time, enabling you to easily track your eyesight over time, often on a monthly basis. You can also compare the differences between your left and right eyes. Detailed records include the date, vision result, eye(s) measured, and whether glasses or contacts were worn.

Is this app suitable for professional eye exams?

Due to physical device restrictions, the results from this app should be used as a guideline only and are not a substitute for professional medical advice or a complete eye examination. It is intended for personal tracking and preparation before professional measurements.

What are the measurement optotype options?

The app supports two main types of measurement optotypes: the E chart, commonly used in English-speaking countries, and the Landolt ring, used in Japan. You can choose the option that is easiest for you to use, and the selection does not affect the measurement method.

Can I customize the app's appearance?

Yes, the app offers some customization options. You can choose from 4 different theme colors to personalize the screen's appearance to your liking. Additionally, you can adjust settings like sound effects for correct/incorrect responses to suit your preferences.
