I just recently downloaded this app and have been very pleasantly impressed with its capabilities. I’m still exploring features. I sent a couple questions to them last night and I reply was waiting for me this morning. Great response by Support. Thanks again! ### 1/5 — A Paid App I Can’t Use Anymore 😥 *2024-03-16, version 2.00.02* I had paid, via the Apple App Store £12.99 to use this app on my iMac. It used my iCloud services to sync the data between my devices. It’s was really useful for my work. But now I find that I can’t use the iMac app whatsoever because of the need of subscription charges. This renders my paid app useless because I can’t edit any entries without paying subscription charges first. I would have expected that any app that was bought via the Apple App Store at cost would give the user the right to use the app and not have to pay more money to use it. 😥 ### 4/5 — Very very good. *2021-11-28* EasyasPie has all the qualities to be a very good database. It does take some time to learn. But once you get the hang of it it is easy to develope your own databases. ### 5/5 — Love this DB app!!! *2020-09-28* Absolutely love the EasyAsPie DB iPad app!! Almost gave up after 2 hrs trying to create my own DB without using any of the included templates or reading the instructions. (BTW, built-in templates are very straight forward . . just enter your data. Like very simple advanced “List app”) . So glad I, finally, scanned thru the instructions as near the end there’s a very helpful “Create a New Record Type” section. Recommend reading this section, @ minimum, if you want to create new DB or modify a built-in template. Great that can backup, import /export csv & html . Makes beautiful reports in table format. I’d like to set up some reports not in table, but instead with individual records with their fields listed down multi-columns rather than row format. And my database is now locked unless I pay 4.99? And to think I left a genuine review below and recommended you to others. Cheers for that. You have not produced a completely free app as you advertised. It doesn’t say your database will be locked after 45 days but hints it’s optional... 🤨 I was looking for a database app that can hold pictures so I can database my coin collection. This app is easy to use and I was able to create a handy tool I can use on the move that stores the info of the coins I have in my collection and best of stores photos of the coins. I have 500+ to edit in and I’m around halfway so far but I’m amazed that after adding photos of nearly 300 coins my app is less than 400mb! I thought it would be lots more! Definitely a good app to use for a database. My only gripes is when you want to see the photo in more detail than the small image you have to press edit then select the picture to view it large but that’s not a big deal really. Just would be better if you could add multiple photos in one record and/or select the photo to view in full screen properly. Other than that it’s a great tool I’ve already recommended a few times to other coin collectors 👍 ### 2/5 — Not very functional *2018-05-10, version 1.91.17* I've created a structure of containers 5 levels deep. In the last level I've created a file that contained some items. There is Jo way to search for an item from the top level, you have to be in the file. If you don't know which file contains the item you're trying to locate, you're stuffed. Tried contact support, entered my email, but when entering the message and clocking Done, nothing happens. Closing the message deletes it. Very poor design. Deleted. 2 stars for potential. ### 5/5 — Decent iPad database *2016-07-07* So far this has been a good, functional database for me. Don't really know what its limits are. I bought the biz pack, and am using it as a custom asset tracking dbase. It is reasonably easy to customize, although the help is in tech speak and not an easy read.
