Please fix ### 4/5 — Great app with a bug *2020-02-02* This is a great app. The interface destroys all of its competition. I’d like to give this 5 stars but I found an annoying bug that I hope will be fixed soon. The swing type does not properly save with your pattern. For instance, if you open a saved pattern that was saved with a 1/16 swing, but the previous pattern that was opened had a 1/8 swing, the newly opened pattern will be in 1/8 swing rather than the correct swing type. It’s pretty annoying. Seems like a simple thing to fix, which I hope will be done soon. It would also be great if Easybeats introduced a way to export a midi file of the pattern, rather than just audio, so the patterns could be dropped into a DAW for use with other kits. Introducing this feature would make for a 10 star rating! ### 4/5 — Cool little app! *2019-06-21* This is a cool lap to practice with. It has a few drawbacks hence only 3 stars but I used it lots and just wish it changed screen when playing to multiple bars. Could also do a side stick sound which is so standard on a drum kit. ### 2/5 — Good at what it does but missing critical features *2018-07-16* The recording and pattern manipulation are excellent in this app. Compared to others the work flow is simple, intuitive and produces good results. However, for $10 or a subscription it needs some serious attention: 1) more drum kits - the current selection is SO small, and repeats so many of the same sounds I initially thought this app was a scam. 2) ability to control other drum apps via midi - this would some what make up for the lack of samples. 3) triplets, etc. - any decent sequencer needs to have some ability to modify the layout of the pattern in various ways. Locking users into a simple grid is not good for anyone besides beginners. ### 2/5 — Cannot import ANY samples *2018-06-22* Can’t import samples with the updated version of iTunes nor can you import them from Dropbox. Thanks EasyBeats! -AprilRox Studios ### 3/5 — Nice scratch pat that’s about it *2017-12-03* It’s easy to use and sounds good but with the inability to change time signatures and tempo within the song, and especially the crippling 16 patterns limit per song, musician/songwriters will be disappointed not being able to write a drum part for an entire song. And it’s not like I’m trying to do anything elaborate. I’m just laying down some basic patterns for stoner rock songs. ### 4/5 — Very impressed *2017-10-19* Though I would like to see some more kits to be added because now I'm bored with the current one. I also want more than just 16 pattern loops. When you erase notes, they don't call away, creating what I call "ghost notes" which play even though they are not there. When you copy and paste the track into another app, like GarageBand for example, the drum pattern plays correctly and does not include the ghost notes, but they DO play in the app while you're trying to create a drum beat, making it impossible to create a beat because you don't know what the beat will actually sound like because of the ghost notes that still play even after you erase them. ### 1/5 — Faulty Update *2015-12-27, version 3.08* I'm on an iPhone 5s running 9.2. I don’t know how others are using this thing, but it’s certainly more than just a drum machine in the traditional sense. It’s easy, it’s fun and it’s very capable. Please don’t let this fade out. I’ve tried a hell of a lot of music making apps, hardware and other software. I can honestly say that this is brilliant!
