If you leave the time entry edit page mid way through, all the information is lost when you return to complete the information. Forcing the user to re-enter the information. Whilst it does the basics well, these additional features would make it much easier for the sole business person. ### 2/5 — Cancelled *2024-12-16, version 11.11.3* I cancelled this a while back ( or so I thought did). They’ve continued to charge my card for the last 6 months at $21 a pop. NONE of their packages are that price. They are $9.99, $11.99, and $14.99. So what is the $21 for. I’m not even sure how to unsubscribe, this app does show up in the subscriptions portion on my iTunes account which is where I cancelled it from the first time. It has made my business worry free Since as a service center all my work is in the field. I need to be able to operate mobile every day. I enjoy the reports generated especially during tax season. I enjoy the many features of this program. Tracking of all my customers and vendors is great. As a service center I can easily write up invoices and print them or email them immediately to my customers. However in your most recent update something happened in the software and I can no longer use the program on my IPAD. At first I thought I may need to update to a newer IPAD i checked with a friend of mine who operates an electronic store and we checked on a newer IPAD and the same thing happens. The program starts to open and then closes. So now I have gone back to hand writing invoices to my customers. Plus I can’t access any of my customers or vendors while in the field. Can you help with this I really don’t look forward to having to change accounting programs that would be a total nightmare. ### 2/5 — Help please *2023-05-11, version 11.11.1* Been unable to issue any invoices or process receipts since latest app update on iPad. Can’t contact support as web page link is not secured and wont connect. What am I supposed to do? Not impressed. ### 3/5 — Another issue *2023-05-06, version 11.11.1* I’m having iPhone X issues. Tried reissuing an invoice via WhatsApp. It will not let me. It defaults to email only. Very annoying as my 82yr old client doesn’t use a computer. So now it’s snail mail extending the time it will take to get paid. I have the latest iOS installed. Pity this app doesn’t do tax either. That would be very helpful. It does do vat, I’m not vat registered. I contacted customer support who responded almost immediately but said since I don’t have a paid subscription I am not eligible for support… so you lost my data and won’t help me retrieve it and gave me to advanced notice or time to back it up first. Do not trust this company. ### 1/5 — How to transition from EB Lite to Easy books paid subscription *2023-11-27, version 11.11.3* Logged the below via their ticketing system to get the issue sorted, even after I’m happy to pay the subscription. It’s been two days since I logged the ticket and so far no response! I’m literary recording my business transactions on paper. “I'm an EB Lite user, since the last iOS update the old app seems to crash, as a result I'm unable to run my businesses and I'm in a lot of trouble and deep stress. Now the app is glitching out and can’t log into anything so essentially lost all the work have done previously!! ### 1/5 — Final Review *2022-04-19, version 11.10* This app was Easybooks where you owned the data and it was sold as such. It moved to the subscription model, leaving those of us who bought into it originally with the option either to pay out over £100 per year for what we already bought before, or to use the “Lite” version that was hobbled. Subscriptions are necessary for developers to live and to increase or maintain versions of software going forward. That said, the charges levied for this are extortionate for functionality that those of us who bought into the app originally had already paid for. For that reason alone it should be given an arm’s length assessment. The nail in the coffin for us was the move to cloud data. Accounts have to be available for a minimum of 7 years. All our data is our responsibility, and this aspect alone is not defensible in the event that the app gets pulled or changed yet again. The trust element has gone, and if you are responsible for the data, you need to bear in mind that we trusted this platform once before and they let us down.
