## What is EasyCal Expense Tracker?

Easycal turns your bank and credit card statements into a clear picture of your money — in seconds.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Drop in a PDF statement from any bank
2. Cal reads it on your phone and sorts every transaction into categories
3. See exactly where your money goes — by month, by category or all time

WHAT YOU GET
• Statements from any bank, in any country
• Automatic categories you can correct with a drag — Cal learns and remembers
• Income and expenses side by side, with month-by-month charts
• Recurring bills and salaries, with a reminder on the day each one is due
• Any currency converted at official European Central Bank rates for the date of each transaction
• Manual entry for cash, and a running total you can trust

YOUR DATA STAYS YOURS
Statements are read on your device. No bank login, no passwords, no account numbers. Nothing is uploaded.

EASYCAL PREMIUM
Premium adds Ask Cal — a plain-language explanation of any statement line you do not recognize, 100 questions a month — deeper insights, and a live view of your investments: shares, crypto, gold and deposits. ## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.3.0 — 2026-08-17

This update fixes two credit-card statement errors and rebuilds pension tracking.

• Credit card statements: refunds are no longer counted as spending, and the card payment is no longer recorded a second time.
• Investment change rates: on a portfolio younger than a week, the weekly and monthly figures now cover only the days you actually have.
• Pension: enter the current totals from your statement and the app carries them forward. State contribution and vesting years follow the published rules — tap ⓘ to read them.
• Date fields accept a short year (29.12.25).

### 1.2.2 — 2026-08-15

This release overhauls investment tracking.

• Every investment row now shows its unit price — no need to open the detail
• Daily, weekly, monthly and total gain are now shown per position
• Gain appears in the currency the investment was bought in; totals stay in the currency you chose
• The period selector on Analytics now drives the investment breakdown too, and "Yearly" is now "Total"
• The investment detail now shows the gain percentage next to the amount

Fixes:

• When an exchange rate could not be fetched, foreign-currency holdings dropped out of the totals and their group read as zero
• A partial valuation could be compared against a complete one, showing a very large false loss
• For pension holdings the detail sheet showed a different gain than the list
• A value that cannot be measured now reads "—" instead of zero
• Pension gain was rebuilt: you can now enter the total you have paid in, and the gain is measured against that. While the field is empty the gain reads "—" — the app will not invent a percentage without knowing what went in
• State contribution vesting is now applied: 0% before three years, 15% at year three, 35% at year six, 60% at year ten. The part not yet earned is shown separately
• The state contribution rate now follows the payment date (30% before 1 January 2026, 20% after) and the yearly ceiling is applied

### 1.2.1 — 2026-08-14

This release overhauls statement reading.

• Albaraka Türk, ING, Yapı Kredi and Revolut statements are now supported
• Fixed cases where an amount was read in the wrong direction — money coming in no longer shows up as spending
• Fixed a currency mix-up that could multiply amounts by an exchange rate
• Statements that were only partly read now come through complete
• Transaction names now appear for banks that were showing reference numbers
• Documents that are not statements are no longer imported by mistake

Interface:

• Fixed text overflowing at large amounts — savings goal, analytics cards, investment details and category names now fit on every screen size
• The settings button no longer disappears behind a long name
• The investment detail panel scrolls when its content is long

### 1.2 — 2026-08-12

Investment tracking grew up in this release:

• See your portfolio's Daily / Weekly / Monthly / Total change at a tap — amount and percentage together
• US markets under one roof: NYSE, Nasdaq and ETFs (like SPY) can now be searched and added
• Live unit price in the investment detail
• Redesigned type and currency selection
• Price refresh interval now shown on screen

Statement import got stronger too:

• Credit card statements from more banks are supported
• Instalment purchases are now recorded at the month's amount
• Card bill payments are no longer counted as spending
• Better category matching for Turkish merchant names

Tip: Track a money market fund with the "Interest" type — enter the fund's name and principal, put its expected annual yield in the rate field, and update it via Edit when the yield changes.

Also: the investment detail panel opens on screen on long pages, and the home-screen investment total loads correctly at launch.

### 1.1 — 2026-08-11

• A proper opening screen — no more white flash
• Hide your amounts with one tap
• Set a savings goal and watch it fill
• Income categories: salary, rent, investments — and bulk re-filing
• New investments: silver, platinum, palladium and private pension
• Insights: your investment mix, type by type
• Better contrast, VoiceOver labels, reduced-motion support
• Bug fixes and polish
