## What is EasyCube Speedcube Trainer?

EasyCube teaches you to solve the Rubik's cube, then to do it faster.

Tell it where you are and it puts you on the right method, with what youalready know ticked off. Beginner, layer by layer. CFOP with the last layer intwo looks while you learn it. Or full CFOP.

A REAL 3D CUBE
Every algorithm plays on a cube in three dimensions, move by move. Tap a moveto jump to it. Turn the cube with your finger to look underneath. Show onlythe pieces the case is about and grey out the rest.

119 CASES, WRITTEN FOR FINGERS
41 F2L, 57 OLL, 21 PLL. The brackets mark the triggers your hand alreadyknows, not groups of three. Don't like an algorithm? Replace it with yours andthe app keeps yours.

PRACTISE
A timer with real WCA scrambles, drawn at random from every state of the cube.Recognition, for naming a case without solving it. From memory, for rehearsing an algorithm on the app's own cube when yours is not to hand — nothing istimed there, it is for learning the moves. And the cross in fewest moves, where the app knows the true optimum and tells you.

THE BEGINNER METHOD, ILLUSTRATED
Every step shows the piece it is talking about, on a cube, before giving you the sequence. Notation included, if this is your first time reading R U R'.

WHAT IT DOES NOT DO
No account. No adverts. No in-app purchases. No usage analytics. Nothing is collected. Your times and your progress stay on your device, and travel through your own iCloud if you want them elsewhere.

Free, and staying that way.

## Version history (last 3 releases)

### 1.2 — 2026-09-27

The 2×2 is here: its beginner method, the Ortega method, their algorithms in 3D and a timer for each cube. New COLL set, 40 cases. The 3×3 beginner method is rewritten the way tutorials teach it: few sequences, with drawn examples for the cross, the corners and the second layer. Each case page shows the 3D cube, which follows the algorithm you type and keeps its true colours. The virtual cube moves into Practise, and a session can be timed in one go, without steps. Many fixes.

### 1.1 — 2026-09-27

- Brackets (triggers) are kept in the algorithms you add.
- Timer without scrambles, editable sessions, records per session.
- The 3D cube reloads by itself if it had vanished.
- Fixes a crash when deleting a session.

### 1.0 — 2026-09-25
