It could use a serious design overhaul, but I realize this is a niche product. But I do not understand why the app does not have push notifications. Seriously. I don’t think I’ve ever heard of an app lacking that feature?? ### 1/5 — Useless unless there are real time notifications *2021-09-22* Lascar makes a great thermometer but the back end is seriously lacking, antiquated, and frustrating. It’s 2021, it’s not that difficult to develop and enable real time notifications. After all, what is the point of a real time monitoring system if it does not alert you to changes in real time? ### 1/5 — App crashes *2018-12-27, version 1.42* Whatever you have done in you latest revision, the app now crashes when it tries to open !!! Poor show !!! ☹️ ### 2/5 — Needs real time push notifications *2019-05-15* I use the EasyLogCloud system to monitor the Lascar thermohygrometers used on site at a museum. The web client is great and can be configured to send emails when alarms occur; however the mobile app lacks the ability to send notifications when an environment’s readings are out of range. The data visualization of this app are very useful but without real time notification so that a user can make necessary adjustments in order to protect artworks, it’s not as useful or effective as it could be. ### 3/5 — Needs push notifications *2025-05-02* I have over 30 LASCAR temperature dataloggers to monitor 24/7 using their paid Professional subscription. While this app is great for getting the information I need, in my opinion, it really, really needs to push alarm notifications to the IPhone or iPad. The web app allows you to specify which alarms receive a text message/email, but my mobile carrier has deemed the ones from EasyLogCloud as SPAM with no way to fix that on my end. They get blocked, so I don’t get notifications. This nightmare started last year with a well-known carrier and is a known issue mentioned other people for their app services. My workaround is using a paid third party push notification app which has been a true savior for this problem. But I still can’t believe that it’s 2025 and EasyLogCloud won’t push notifications during alarm states. I guess the company is still pushing to have “SMS Credits” purchased in addition to the monthly cloud service charges for text messaging notifications. Other thoughts: Would also be nice to offer a custom background option and screen magnification feature as the temperature dataloggers can be hard to see in daylight with the current background options. ### 3/5 — Great once set up *2025-04-22, version 1.72* The data is great, cloud logging is great, account screen takes a bit of getting used to as some features aren’t obvious. The thing that lets it down is setting up the data logger in the first place - real hit and miss and inconsistent. It’s very frustrating to connect to WiFi as the app just keeps crashing. Seems to work 1 in 10attempts. Everything else is great, please resolve. ### 3/5 — Some features seem broken *2020-09-10, version 1.62* In settings sample rate and sync schedule drop down are just blank meaning I have to blindly just touch somewhere on the screen to get a value. Also had to go to desktop version to add the device into favourites to make it appear and be viewed on the app. Graphs and things work well and overall could be a good app just a few bugs. ### 4/5 — Good app, needs minor change *2021-05-16, version 1.63* Hi, great app, but please could you change the color of the red writing in the graphs.
