### 3/5 — Doesn’t work anymore

*2023-02-26*

Hello,

It used to work, but now the app just closes when I open it. Once I reinstall, it does open.. after I add a config (nagiosxi api) , it just closes every time I open it.

Hope that helps,

**Developer response:** I just tested it with Nagios XI 5.8 and 5.9.3 and couldn't reproduce the problem. I think it has something to do directly with your setup or one of your hosts/services. In order to investigate the problem more closely, I would ask you to contact me by email.

--

The app works, maybe something has changed in your system or monitoring software. Unfortunately I cannot help with this little information to solve the problem. It would be better to describe the problem to me in detail by e-mail in order to find a solution.

### 5/5 — Great App!

*2021-07-21, version 3.7.1*

Hello, Mario! Thank you for the app. It works great on iPhone.
Question: is there a way to add the Alias below or on top of the host_name? We use Nagios.

### 5/5 — Thank you for the update

*2020-08-30, version 3.5*

Thank you for adding check command output in first page with the option to show or hide.

Please add next lacking features and most people demanded is alerting feature in app with enable or disable option.
Also think about pre-set Acknowledgement message, we do not need to write each time.

Beside this I can not find anything to point negative on this app.

**Developer response:** Hi ashokgtm,

thanks for your review. It's already possible to set a default acknowledge message per instance, just edit your instance and scroll down to "Misc / Default ACK".

Regards
Mario

### 5/5 — Works great

*2020-04-19, version 3.3*

This app works well with CheckMK (Nagios frontend). Does everything I need it to do. Nice job. 👍🏼

### 4/5 — Push notifications

*2020-02-12, version 3.2.2*

Will this app ever provide notifications?

### 4/5 — Very good at what it does, but lacking a couple key features.

*2019-12-20, version 3.2.2*

This app is GREAT for checking status, but it would benefit greatly from having alerting features.

I bought this thinking it would alert me when a service or host goes critical, but it does not do that. I still have to rely on email notifications.

It would also be handy to have the ability to look at the alert history. You can do that looking at the graphs on a per service basis, but not holistically.

Like I said before, what this app does it does very well, but to it is missing a couple key features to make this the perfect Nagios app.

### 5/5 — Nagios XI

*2019-02-20, version 2.8.1*

Just installed our own Cent0s VM running Nagios XI and monitors about 75 different hosts. This does a great job at letting me do both instances (internal IP and external) that way I don’t use Rackspace cloud bandwidth. It works perfectly and this is required by IT admins!

### 5/5 — Excellent app!

*2018-10-14, version 2.6*

Works great to monitor my icinga2 instance!

### 5/5 — The best there is

*2018-07-13, version 2.4*

This app excels in all the ways you’d expect. Easy to setup, manage and use. Nice multi-select is a treat to have, as are the swipe conveniences. Getting quick looks at the pnp graphs work really quickly for services as well.
And no, the author never claimed to have push notifications...and why would he want to? It would cost plenty for all the notifications people would use it for. Use pushover with your monitoring servers, as already mentioned. Penalizing for a feature that isn’t desired or promised is lame

### 4/5 — Great, but no built-in notifications

*2018-06-05, version 2.3*

The app provides no iOS notifications when problems are detected, but this can be addressed by using another push notification server like Pushover.
