However, recently can not open in either safari to keep using. There is a bug issue that needs to be fixed to make it user friendly. ### 2/5 — Easier to use church website *2021-06-18, version 2.5.0* The app does not have a login tab, for frequent users. I have to look up my church every time and then it will allow me to login. This is more complicated than using our church website, so the app has no value! Then when finished it asks if you want to go back to the app. It's quicker just to save a webpage. You're only allowed to donate to one place. I guess I'll just keep writing checks! ### 2/5 — Impractical *2018-02-27, version 2.3.2* My church started using this program which has a website partnered with the app. I’m more inclined to use an app for convenience and basic lifestyle, but this app isn’t practical. It’s great if all you do is tithe, but if you split your giving to other funds at church you have to make a separate entry and submit it for each category of giving. If you’re using an app, you’re obviously looking for convenience. Who has time to enter something multiple times. The app should function more like the website. This app needs some serious development before I put my support behind it. The developers need to ask people for input who are givers then they’ll know what we’re looking for in an app. Better yet, just mirror the website features and you’ll be heading in the right direction. ### 1/5 — Just stopped working *2017-10-01, version 2.3.1* It worked for several weeks and just stopped working. ### 1/5 — What Happened? *2017-06-12, version 2.3.1* I used this app for a few months tithing to my church every Sunday. Then one Sunday I go to tithe and I enter my 4 digit pin # and it says it's invalid. I've tried every 4 digit number I can possibly think of and it won't accept it. I've emailed easy tithe (approx 10 times) and whomever is messaging me back seems to be a complete Moron. It shouldn't take this long to resolve me being able to change my 4 digit pin to be able to log in just to give money! It will only allow you to give to the general fund and it will not allow you to print out your donations at the end of the year for tax purposes, the export to PDF button is useless. I’m trying to convince my Pastors to dump this awful service, very unreliable. ### 1/5 — System Glitch *2025-05-16, version 2.5.0* I went to pay my tithes and offering and kept getting rerouted without receiving a confirmation. Low and behold my payment processed twice. I tried calling them to let them know they have a system glitch and the rep was unconcerned and told me to call the church for a refund. ### 1/5 — Recurring without my consent *2024-04-01, version 2.5.0* This needs to be stopped!!! I hate this new change. I even removed the app and it still takes out my money which isn’t right at all! I am very disappointed!! You messed up my family friend’s donation without his consent. I received a quote that said: PRICING $0 monthly fee / $0 Minimum / $0 startup fee / (optional $15/month for Text Giving) plus below transaction fees: Transaction fees on your donations are only: 1.99% Tiered + $0.39 Flat – Debit / Credit Cards or .75 % + $0.39 Flat Rate – ACH (e-check) Yet, 8 months in, they suddenly started charging $10 for months when there were no transactions. I tried emailing support who would give me no answers other than “there is a monthly minimum and if you don’t meet it, you are charged $10.” After I sent the quote that I had been given I was told that the agent would “research this” and get back to me. She never did, so I messaged again and got the same response as before. There is only one negative with the update, you can no longer edit the name of the fund. There are only standard choices, which I’m sure the church chose. But I used to be able to edit the name of the fund, and that is convenient when visiting preachers or missionaries come and you want to give a special offering just for them. Or if you want to give money for a special event at church, I can’t edit the name of the fund. ### 4/5 — Great app! Suggestion, too. *2016-02-14, version 2.0.5* Easy Tithe is easy to use and quite convenient! I love how specific funds can be chosen. I completely love that a recurring gift can be processed. There was one time donations not that long ago. Now, you only have options for recurring weekly, monthly and bi-weekly. It was quick and easy. Tonight I had to switch my default browser from Firefox to Safari because apparently Easy Tithe only works with Safari now.
