WiFi, not so much. When connected, I can turn on and off and change temp. But can’t change fan settings or heat/cool settings. ### 2/5 — WiFi doesn’t work *2026-05-28, version 1.78* Very overpriced for a poorly designed app. Things aren’t very intuitive and require research. Works great with Bluetooth but the whole purpose of having it is to be able to monitor the temperature went away from an RV. I can see my actual thermostat temperature numbers light up when I’m at my trailer, why can’t the App do that. ### 3/5 — WiFi *2026-02-05, version 1.78* For some reason, I had to delete the APP, log back in, and reset the WiFi settings to get it to work again. Pretty useless for us. ### 4/5 — Works great, but has potential for growth *2025-01-22, version 1.71* So I’ve been using this for almost a year now and they’ve done a pretty good job in terms of support and fixing the bugs, but I’d like to see in the future though is some analytics so we can see how much electricity we using and how much propane and gas and so forth is being used ### 4/5 — App needs work *2024-09-30, version 1.70* You can’t tell which zone you are setting or editing in the schedule on an iPhone, but you can’t copy a days settings to another day on the thermostat, so you need to set it all on the thermostat for one day, then use the app to copy that days settings to all the other days. But of a pain. When updating firmware, sometimes the thermostat loses ALL its settings, or becomes locked up and unresponsive and needs to be factory reset, again losing all its settings. Not great as it is a pain to remember all the settings you need again. It’s great it has schedules though, and that you can control it by wifi or Bluetooth, and that it is plug and play and works on the rv 12v system as basically nothing else does. I just wish they weren’t so obscenely expensive. Smart thermostats are only $70 now. Why are yours still $300? I get the niche and less customer base but 4 times the price? And I need 2 for 3 units… I haven’t had the cash for the second one yet, but will have to get it eventually… ### 2/5 — Love the hardware, dis-like the software *2024-06-27, version 1.70* There are so many examples of good user interfaces for HVAC so I am perplexed by this software's design choices. Given the price of these thermostats, I expected a better overall experience with the application. Laggy touchscreen but works. It also connects to WiFi, I know this because it shows the WiFi symbol in green and shows outside temp it gets from the web. Within the app I’m able to control the thermostat via Bluetooth. But it will not work via the WiFi option. It will just stay on the thermostat screen but does not work via WiFi no matter how many times I’ve tried within that past 4 months. Please fix this. The UI is so bad, it would feel outdated on a Palm pilot. It works, but it’s Kludgy, and missing so many features that would be a layup. Their customer service is the worst. They have a computer system who attempts to fix the problem. I am sending my $300 ET back for a full refund. I will go back to my old until I can find something easier to use and offers live customer service when needed. This company is a joke and so is their app!!! ### 1/5 — Can’t create account *2024-11-28, version 1.70* I confirmed my email is correct and it won’t send me a confirmation number so I can use the app. Not sure why I need a login just to connect via Bluetooth to my thermostat anyway. Once you turn off a zone on the app, it cannot be turned back on with going to actual thermostat. Why? Firmware update never works either. If your going to sell the thermostat, then please provide proper firmware support!! Downloaded beta version and still no fix for this problem. Not sure what is holding this up. About to buy a new thermostat with better performance and software support. Expensive but if you want remote capabilities it is worth every penny. ### 5/5 — Works great, but *2025-10-11, version 1.75* The only thing I have an issue with is the app doesn’t automatically choose a thermostat and open that setting panel automatically. If it’s developers are actually reading this would make it so the last thermostat accessed is automatically loaded and then you have to go back to select a different one. That way, the GUI would automatically load the last thermostat and likely the thermostat you want to control. ### 5/5 — Great for what is does. *2025-10-10, version 1.75* Use the quick start guide to learn how to use this app for your thermostat. Once you learn how to use it you will be glade you have it. You can link to the thermostat by WiFi for remote access and warnings when you’re away from your RV. When you are there you can Bluetooth to it to set or change the weekly schedule. Or you can make changes without having to touch the thermostat. I love the convenience of the app and the ability to make changes to my RV HVAC from anywhere at anytime. Plus the peace of mind that if the system fails to operate properly it will warn me if the temp gets out side my set pentameters. Knowing my pets are not going to overheat or freeze. ### 5/5 — Lar8480 *2025-04-25, version 1.73* Easy installation, works very well except for schedule. It will not run the schedule. Please fix it. ### 5/5 — Works great for me! *2024-02-25, version 1.69* I bought this thermostat because I wanted to keep my RV warm in winter months and, with the help of my hotspot, we can operate it from 80 miles away from the campground. I can cut my heat on when it's below freezing temps and leave it off when above freezing. ### 5/5 — Boondocking Request *2023-09-18, version 1.67* We have have three thermostats and love them. The only feature we’d love to see is the ability to set a timer. When boondocking and going to sleep, we know how many hours of battery we have left and it would be great to be able to turn the ac on a timer for 3 hours without having to update schedules and then change them back the next day. ### 5/5 — A godsend for pets *2023-07-03, version 1.64* When we camp, occasionally we need to leave the dog in the camper while we go to a restaurant or a store where dogs aren’t welcome. The micro air thermostat in combination with this app allow us to check in to make sure that the temperature is still within safe limits, and it will also notify us if the temperature falls outside of those limits. The thermostat was easy to install, and so far it’s working flawlessly.
