### 1.1 — 2026-05-12

Championship 1.1 — Changelog

  New features

  - Hall of Fame — Past champions now appear in a collapsible section at the top of the home screen, sorted newest first.
  - Match notes — Annotate any match with free-text observations like "won on penalties". Annotated matches show a small bubble icon in the bracket and rounds list.
  - Tournament duration — The detail view shows live elapsed time while playing ("Ongoing — 23m") and the final duration once a champion is decided ("Played in 1h 23m").
  - Undo — A new toolbar button reverses the most recent action (winner change, score, notes) — even when it triggered a downstream cascade.
  - Share Result — Finished tournaments get a "Share Result" action that produces a podium card showing champion, runner-up, and (when enabled) third place — separate from the full bracket export.
  - iPad presentation mode — Full-screen, read-only bracket for propping up an iPad at an event. Hides chrome and keeps the screen awake.
  - Seeding — Participant setup now shows seed numbers, and the bracket is generated using standard NCAA-style pairings (seed 1 vs lowest, 2 vs second-lowest in the opposite half).
  - Emoji per participant — Pick an emoji from a curated grid (sports balls, animals, trophies). Shows alongside the existing color dot in every participant display.
  - Champion celebration — A success haptic fires when the tournament finishes; an optional "Champion Sound" toggle plays a system bell.
  - Round summary — Each round header in the rounds tab has a menu that copies an announcer-style summary to the clipboard (e.g., "Round 1 complete: A def. B, C def. D — 4 advance.").
  - Ready indicator — Matches with both players slotted but no winner yet are highlighted with a "READY" badge and a brighter cell border.

  Improvements

  - Share sheet preview now shows a proper title next to the app icon (was blank for image exports).
  - Hall of Fame section header is a tappable button with a visible chevron that rotates between expanded/collapsed states.
  - Round-summary action button enlarged and accent-colored for easier tapping.
  - All 25 new strings translated across 9 locales (de, en, es, fr, it, nl, pt-BR, ru, tr).

  Bug fixes

  - Scores no longer get out of sync with the winner in scoreboard mode (tapping a player to change the winner now resets the scores).
  - Third-place match now always finishes correctly when a semifinal had a BYE walkover.
  - Changing an early-round winner via cascade now wipes the now-stale scores on downstream matches.
  - UMP consent flow no longer initializes the Mobile Ads SDK twice.
  - The adFreeTournamentID is cleared when its tournament is deleted (no more orphan storage).
  - Cascade-clearing the final's winner now correctly reverts the tournament from .finished back to .ongoing.
  - Fixed launch crash on devices with existing V1/V2 SwiftData stores ("Duplicate version checksums detected").
  - Missing-locale-fallback regression in newly added strings (was showing raw key like hall_of_fame.section.header).

  Compatibility

  - Minimum iOS lowered from 26.2 to 17.0 — the app now runs on every currently-supported iPhone (iPhone XS / XR and newer, Sept 2018+).
