### 4/5 — I love this app

*2025-12-13, version 2.11.3*

Great app my only issue with it is that when I search for a food and press enter it automatically fills in a food. A food that I didn’t select. Like I type cuc for cucumber and press it enter it gives another food. Please fix this

Update: I would like if I could add fruits and vegetables that aren’t here with the specific color

Great app my only issue with it is that when I search for a food and press enter it automatically fills in a food. A food that I didn’t select. Like I type cuc for cucumber and press it enter it gives another food. Please fix this

### 4/5 — Simple and Effective

*2024-01-03, version 2.6.6*

This app is easy to use and does a nice job tracking the plant foods you are eating.

Two suggestions for upcoming enhancements would be to:

(1) add functionality that allows you to copy your selections from a specific date and use for to another. Many days I’m eating the same meals and it would save time to be able to copy the previous day rather than having to search and select each item again.

(2) add a ‘delete all’ button to the search bar. Having to hit the backspace button for each character is tedious so it would be great to clear out the search field with one button.

### 4/5 — Great simple app

*2024-01-03, version 2.6.6*

Love this - a nice change from focus on “5 a day”. It’s more interesting to think of how you can check off all the colours. Makes me reach for an apple and not a chocolate bar. And the focus on variety will definitely have health benefits as I don’t eat much blue! Easy to use and even if the exact option is not available in the list there is enough to improvise.

### 4/5 — Good but missing something

*2023-11-19, version 2.6.5*

I do like the app, makes it easier to track how many unique fibers I’ve eaten this week. I just wish I could see a list of the unique things I eat per week, so I don’t need to check day by day to see what I have yet to eat.

### 5/5 — Only nutrition app I will ever use

*2023-06-20, version 2.5.0*

I am so glad they finally updated this app! I love the simplicity. It’s user friendly and motivating. As someone who cares about my health but isn’t trying to count calories, lose weight or follow any specific “diet” it is wonderful to just have a way to motivate myself to add a little more nutrition without feeling like it need to cut out a bunch of other things.

### 5/5 — Unique - great visualization tool

*2023-04-15, version 2.5.0*

I also love how they don’t force you to create an account. You can if you want to. It’s all very chill. Not a lot of text, not needed. The list of foods for each color is a great way of expanding beyond my usual foods, as in “hmm, what foods can I eat to check off the red box?” It’s great. Simple, but with great effect.

### 5/5 — My favourite app 🌈

*2023-04-13, version 2.5.0*

I’m so happy this app has been updated! I used to use it all the time but then it had some issues and I deleted it. Today I searched for it again to try to help with my daily intake and was ecstatic to find the updated version, which is so easy to use.
When I used this app before I ate so much more fruit and veg, so as of today I’m starting again 🥰
Big thank you to the app developers 💜

### 5/5 — Perfectly Simple!

*2023-04-10, version 2.4.5*

I was looking for a SIMPLE app to track my plant intake after reading Fiber Fueled and setting a goal to eat 30 unique plants per week. Most apps were way too complicated for this purpose. This one is perfect! I love the color coding/rainbow visuals and the extensive plant list. Perfect, simple way to shoot for getting more plants into your diet and health into your life!

### 3/5 — Not fond of the new update 😔

*2023-04-03, version 2.3.2*

I used to love this app (with the exception of having to enter in each item manually, especially if it was under the same color). It really motivated me to eat a variety of colors every single day (and noticed the correlation between eating the rainbow and my mood). It would even motivate me to make a different choice if there was a color missing towards the end of the day. For example, if I hadn’t eaten anything orange, I would reach for something that could help me complete that category.

Well, the update allows to check more than one item off at the same time (kudos to that change). However, now the colors I’ve eaten are MUTED and look the same as the ones I haven’t. Not so motivating anymore 👎🏽.

### 3/5 — Last update has made this App worse

*2023-03-28, version 2.3.2*

A handy way of tracking food intake that I have used for a while now. Disappointingly, the last update has made this App clunky and makes functionality less easy to use

### 5/5 — Helps me make better choices

*2023-03-16, version 1.70.2*

This app is simple and aesthetically pleasing, but most importantly it works for me. It helps me to see clearly how healthily I’m eating and pushes me to eat more fruits and vegetables. I love it!

### 4/5 — Eating Healthier

*2023-03-11, version 1.70.2*

Since using this app, I’m definitely more aware of how many fruits & veggies I’m eating each day & I have been making more of an effort to eat healthier. It’s kind of fun “earning rainbows.” I think there could be a better explanation of how the Favorites button works. I tried it once to add a few items to the favorites list, but then every single item I added that day went onto the Favorites & every time I add something new to a day, it now ends up on my Favorites list even though I technically didn’t add it as such. Also, being able to delete items from both the Favorites list & daily list would be nice for when I tapped on the wrong item by mistake.

### 5/5 — Simple, elegant, stripped back app

*2023-03-10, version 1.70.2*

Great

### 5/5 — Amazing

*2023-02-26, version 1.70.2*

This app is great for not only encouraging you but your kids to eat a healthy balanced diet and learning all kinds of new fruits and vegetables and getting in up to 30 healthy foods in one week

### 5/5 — Eye opening

*2023-02-21, version 1.70.2*

Made me think about what I wanted to eat and try and include new foods rather than the same rotation

### 3/5 — Nice app but buggy

*2023-02-19, version 1.70.2*

I love the idea of this app and its user interface but some bugs and flaws I’ve found include:
Weekly unique food tracker not working (mine shows 10/0 for example);
App crashes if you try to change to the higher plant goal;
No way to add new foods to the list (eg it didn’t have linseeds listed and there was no way to add);
No way to submit questions/support requests.

If these were fixed it could easily be a 5-star app

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Stupidest app ever created

*2024-01-13, version 2.6.7*

This app is useless.

### 1/5 — Basic Functionality has broken

*2022-08-05, version 1.70.2*

I have loved using this app, but it appears over the past two years that something about how the app tracks the fruit and vegetable servings goal has broken. The dashboard shows the logged fruits and vegetables out of 0. Having visualizations out of zero distorts many of the otherwise beautiful graphs and figures present in the app. In addition, when I try to change the number of servings from 10 to 15, the app immediately crashes. If the issues mentioned above are fixed and what constitutes a serving is added to the app, I will happily rate it five stars.

### 1/5 — Can’t log in. No help retrieving password

*2021-06-19, version 1.70.2*

Really looking forward to using this but can’t remember password and no offer to help from the app.

### 1/5 — wrong colors in the wrong order

*2020-11-14, version 1.70.2*

why are BROWN foods being called “tan”? i don’t understand. what is the reason that the color brown is not represented? the majority of the foods in the “tan” category are actually brown and it drives me insane. even my toddler said they don’t know colors. also, please put the colors in the correct order - you know, like a rainbow. or maybe i just need therapy because i don’t know why i’m so triggered by the developers apparent lack of understanding of colors or the order of colors in a rainbow

### 2/5 — Motivates Me to Eat Healthier

*2023-09-21*

After watching some nutrition videos with scientists, nutritionists and geneticists, I wanted an app to help me note that I had eaten at least 30 plants a week. 🌱🌾This app is exactly what I needed and sooo much MORE!!

The interface is simple and easy to use/read. Color coding the plants makes it easy to see what is missing in my diet and makes me mindful to try to add that color in future meals. It sounds silly but getting a rainbow and star is a little dopamine hit of success for eating well. Lol. The graph/data nerd in me loves seeing the breakdown in categories of types of food and colors. Also appreciate the page for research.

Honestly, this is one of my new favorite and useful apps!! ❤️ Highly recommend it for anyone trying to be conscious of eating a healthier diet. I already see improvements on what I consume. 🍎🍊🍌🍏🫐🍠

### 2/5 — Good start

*2023-01-22, version 1.70.2*

I think it’s a good start but easy updates would take it to 5 stars. -Onboarding- when I downloaded the game, a tutorial should be automatic. I still have no idea what the rainbow icon is and how it’s different from a star. - would be nice to have a tracker that is actually the shape of a rainbow and you see it filling in as you go - when I try to change my goal, it closes the app. Update: taking a star away since same glitches and lack of adding function to add missing ones, such as ethnic fruits and veggies, have still not happened.

### 2/5 — Glitching

*2022-12-11, version 1.70.2*

Love the idea but the app has major glitch. Shuts down anytime I try to choose 15 per day as the goal. And goal displays count as, for example, 5/0 instead of 5/10.

### 2/5 — Inflexible tracking

*2022-02-05, version 1.70.2*

I love the idea of this app. However I can’t track (for example) that I have eaten two red apples. I want to know my count as well as my colours. Also, it only logs on the current day so if you forget to log before the end of the day your count is wrong and can’t be changed!

### 2/5 — Support

*2021-04-19, version 1.70.2*

There is no ability to ask questions about the data. Therefore, hard to interpret your results.

### 3/5 — Can’t add foods not in the database

*2024-05-21, version 2.7.4*

The UI and how it surfaces insights into what colors you’re eating is good but it’s missing a lot of plants, some obvious and common ones like mushrooms. This wouldn’t be a deal breaker if I could add my own foods to my list but you can’t. There’s also no in-app way to request additions to the database. I also didn’t like that I couldn’t download it and check it out more in depth so I could’ve discovered it lacked those features without paying $5 for an app I won’t use now because it lacks basic flexibility.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Excelente! But theres just one little thing…

*2026-07-02, version 2.11.3*

Its a really helpful app and I love seeing my scores and getting a rainbow or a star. I just wish that I could use it offline

### 5/5 — Love this 🌈

*2025-02-16, version 2.9.2*

Great app for keeping track of all the plant based foods. I’ve never eaten enough before but now I’m encouraged to eat my rainbow every day. I’ve been choosing to complete my rainbow instead of eating a chocolate bar. Had a massive impact on my diet. I’ve never eaten this way before and I think it will be a lifestyle change for ever. Thank you 🌈

### 5/5 — Simple and perfect

*2024-05-31, version 2.7.4*

A really great little app. Simple to use and does all the things you need it to do: track daily fruit and veg and also track your weekly 30 plants, if that’s your thing. It has little daily rewards and a simple dashboard. Nothing amazing, but it all works. I’ve never had any issues with bugs and I’ve been using it for over a year. Very occasionally I come across something I’d want to add that isn’t on it’s list, but it’s rare.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2024-05-10, version 2.7.3*

Great little app for recording my foods. Only suggestion would be to delete the food once it has been added so you don’t have to delete each character individually. Thank you

Thank you so much for updating- perfect app!

### 5/5 — Definitely motivates me to eat more vegetables

*2023-12-29, version 2.6.5*

I find myself perusing the produce section for items to fill out my rainbow. 🌈 Thanks!

### 5/5 — Health recovery

*2023-10-08, version 2.6.4*

Had a stroke just after my 50th birthday. This is what I need to measure and motivate myself to eat the rainbow and get all those amazing phytonutrients. Thank you!

### 5/5 — Good and useful app. Please let us sort though.

*2023-09-16, version 2.6.4*

I’ve enjoyed using this app for over a year. The recent upgrades were good. That said, it would be very useful if the foods we’ve eaten would appear in any logical order. Either alphabetically, by colour, or by the order we’ve entered it, by food type or by meal. Or allow us to sort the food ourselves. The way it is now makes it difficult to find and delete mistakes.
Mistakes are made when I enter food for a day sometime in the past under the wrong date. When I realize my mistake and go to correct it, I would expect identical foods that are listed twice in the same day to at least appear together on the list, but they don’t. Having a way to see what foods I’ve already entered on a given day and how many times it’s listed on a given day while I’m entering it would be really useful. Having an undo button would be useful too.

### 5/5 — Perfect

*2023-08-15, version 2.5.0*

I love this app, it does exactly what I want

### 5/5 — Fun!

*2023-07-24, version 2.5.0*

Increasing your fruit and veg intake is one of the best things you can do for your health. I really like this app because it allows me to track my fruit, veggie, and nut consumption to see where I could eat more in a particular color on a given day or over time, and focus on increasing counts of unique foods within the colors.
I *love* that it’s not weight loss/calorie count focused - increased diversity and intake of fruits and veggies is a much better goal, with less risk of a disordered relationship with food.

### 5/5 — Love this app!

*2023-06-27, version 2.5.0*

It has shown me where I have gaps in my diet and now I can focus on adding more orange and purple foods, before using the app I wasn’t even aware I wasn’t eating many of them at all.
