### 4/5 — Looks promising!

*2025-04-24, version 4.0.1*

I’ve recently tried several nutrition tracking apps and didn’t keep them for more than a few minutes. Earerpad looks incredibly promising! I really like the ability to add foods, a necessary feature.

I am having difficulty editing a food I’ve added though—the screen freezes as soon as I tap “edit”and I can’t even go back. I hope this will work itself out and will keep trying.

Will report back again after I have a little more experience with it. So far, thumbs up!

### 4/5 — Nice

*2023-06-12, version 3.0.6*

Very good app lots of options for food. It doesn’t take age or other statistics into account with your intake though.

### 5/5 — Best Nutrient/Calorie/Food Tracker App

*2023-05-02, version 3.0.3*

So glad I tried Eater Pad! Best for Macronutrients and Micronutrients tracking!! So many options for choosing which micronutrients you wish to track even on the FREE option. Easy to add favorite foods that are frequently eaten and then organize daily consumption by snack or meals. Love it! VERY Happy!

### 4/5 — What I’ve been looking for!

*2023-04-25, version 3.0.2*

I’ve just found this app but so far I am so happy to be able to track my vitamins and minerals! A few things need making simpler when you’re adding your own foods but overall so happy

### 5/5 — Love it

*2023-04-23, version 3.0.2*

This app has such a nice layout, I love that it’s not crowded and provides clear and informative information on your intake.

### 5/5 — Great app, and I would pay, BUT...

*2023-04-11*

...the ipad version can't be viewed in landscape. I can use it on the iphone only and it's sometimes out of reach.

### 5/5 — Excellent & thorough!

*2023-03-21, version 2.7.9*

Even though I uncovered a small issue on my device, which I reported to developer, I’m still giving 5 stars as I’m blown away by this app. Super clean interface, I.e. no junk graphics, and *extremely* comprehensive. I didn’t expect a biometrics tracking feature, which, as someone who has to track blood pressure daily, is a huge bonus. The free version is comprehensive enough but I decided to upgrade because good apps need to be supported.

### 5/5 — Best Nutrition App!

*2023-03-17, version 2.7.9*

This app has been so helpful for me. I have a condition called gastroparesis (partial paralysis of the stomach), and my nutritionist and GI both have me on a very specific diet to manage the symptoms.
I love this app especially because it helps me keep track of the specific nutrients - while also not focusing on weight loss/weight gain.

I also like that it doesn’t rate food as “good” or “bad,” but instead focuses on the numbers. Some of the foods I’m supposed to eat are sometimes considered “bad foods” in other apps (like white bread instead of whole grain), while some foods I have to avoid are sometimes considered good (like broccoli or beans). It makes it feel more guilt-free, and I don’t feel anxious logging my food.

I’ve tried several apps to keep up with my doctors’ recommendations, and this one is absolutely the best.

### 5/5 — Greatest nutrition app out there!

*2023-02-22, version 2.7.9*

If you are looking for a simplified nutrition app that tracks your food intake and provides a clear analysis of both macronutrients AND essential micronutrients, this is it!! I researched a lot of apps before settling on this one. It’s better than the top rated nutrition apps! Also, the free version is more than sufficient. I’m sure I’ll sign up for the premium version once I master all the information I have at my fingertips right now. Lastly, the tech help is impressive. I had a few questions when I initially signed up and the”help” response was prompt and solved my issues. Great experience!

### 5/5 — Finally, a way to track micronutrients!

*2023-01-16, version 2.7.9*

I hadn’t found anything as comprehensive as this on the market, so I was manually calculating via spreadsheets. Thank you so much for creating this! Tip for newcomers - you can track other micronutrients in the app as well, they just don’t show up on the Home Screen as default.

### 5/5 — The best nutrition and food tracker!

*2023-01-06, version 2.7.9*

I need to keep careful track of my nutrition as I am a lactating mother. I don’t want to rely on a multivitamin, and instead prefer to eat whole foods. I like that this app tracks macros, as well as a huge variety of vitamins and minerals. You can input your own goals if you wish. It takes a lot the guesswork out of making food choices, and I can relax knowing I don’t need to stress my body out with a toxic multivitamin.

### 5/5 — Melhor app de todos!

*2023-01-04, version 2.7.9*

Nele você tem noção dos macros e dos micro nutrientes em uma interface intuitiva. É muito fácil de usar! Muito bom mesmo! Parabéns aos desenvolvedores 👏👏👏👏

### 5/5 — Real deal

*2022-10-30, version 2.7.9*

This is the most complete, best user-friendly nutrient tracker I’ve used! I am 50 and strongly recomend It to anyone who wants a Healthier body.

### 5/5 — Chemo therapy

*2022-10-18, version 2.7.9*

Just what I need to keep me on track during and after chemo can easily keep up with adjustments following blood Wish folate and magnesium were added to the nutrients was added to though, because sometimes certain illnesses and / or meds cause a need for monitoring

### 5/5 — Good to know

*2022-10-10, version 2.7.9*

Been on a diet but didn’t know the nutritional stat’s. This app helps with that.

### 5/5 — Fantastic app

*2022-09-29, version 2.7.9*

This app is incredibly helpful for tracking daily nutrient intake. It helps me make meaningful changes to my diet to make sure I’m eating right. I have the premium version and love it!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — The actions list is obliterating part of the screen

*2024-01-15, version 3.1.2*

Update: I haven’t used for a while, and now when I open it on my phone, part of the screen is blocked by actions list that is supposed to be on the side. I don’t know if this is related to the type of phone I have, but it shouldn’t do this no matter what phone I have. That’s the reason for the one star hopefully to get someone’s attention. Otherwise. This is a GREAT App! Can track every nutrient. I would love to have the ability to print out my daily totals or at least create an electronic report.

### 1/5 — This does NOT scan nutrition labels

*2022-09-14, version 2.7.8*

I am very disappointed in the promise to scan nutrition labels when it does not do so.

### 1/5 — Bad app

*2020-10-04, version 2.1.9*

Continuously crashes and foods are never in the database. Seems like the app could have potential and the UI is great, but the basic features still aren’t there.

### 1/5 — Needs a lot of work.

*2019-08-17, version 1.1.7*

On the plus side you can add ingredients to a given recipe. That’s it. In order to do so you have to tell it you want to add an item, then you have to tell it you want to add an item again. Once there you have to search for the item, play around with the measurements, quantity is just a field (no way to know what it is), pick the food from a list, tell it again that you want to add the item, and then go through the entire process again by telling it twice you want to add a new ingredient.

I might use a free app for awhile to check for accurate data at least (to offset these UI issues). No need. Adding my omelette to today’s diary all of the quantities were readjusted and the app said I had 122 grams of carbs left for the day!!!! I can’t eat 122 carbs in a day and maintain my blood sugars. This app would kill me.

### 2/5 — Can’t edit or delete anything

*2019-09-11, version 1.1.7*

Can’t edit or delete any entries once you add it. Needs a lot of work.

### 3/5 — Adding own recipes limited. Personal recipes not in ingredient list.

*2023-02-28, version 2.7.9*

I added my own recipe for homemade cashew milk/cream. Then I tried to add my own recipe for another daily drink for which I use this recipe/ingredient. I’m a fairly healthy eater with food intolerances so often I have to make many of my own ingredients. I wanted this app to take my nutrition health to the next level. I’m not just trying to lose a few more pounds. I’m trying to maximize my nutrition.

### 3/5 — Scan the nutrient label

*2022-10-12, version 2.7.9*

Scan the nutrient label is the great feature. I use the free version and want to buy the full version once I'm able to use it. Currently has too many bugs. Today it will not record foods except in yesterday's date. Every week there's something new going wrong. But I'll keep using for a while longer.

### 3/5 — Great idea but not fully developed

*2020-10-16, version 2.2.5*

Great idea but it is not possible to see your total different vitamin intake on the front page? it only shows a few selected vitamins so you can’t really track your whole nutritional intake which I thought was the point of the app

### 3/5 — Could be cool

*2020-07-31, version 1.5.6*

I love the idea of tracking micronutrients and is why I chose this app. As soon as I tried to enter a new food (didn’t exist in their database yet) and saw the options on serving size were not flexible I decided this was not for me. I don’t want to have to Google what X ounce is in grams every time I go to add something new.

### 3/5 — has almost everything i need

*2018-10-18, version 1.0.13*

i love that it shows me vitamins and minerals. it also shows a whole load of stuff that i guess a chemical nutritionist would understand but it’s useless to me. i hate that it crashes and the database for adding food to a recipe is broken. i’ve never experienced an app crash in ios EVER and i download lots of different apps. in terms of missing foods, there’s almost no korean food so it’s hard for me to add ingredients one by one for korean food. but searching by the japanese name sometimes works ^^

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Best app for nutrient tracking

Hands down the easiest and most useful nutrient tracker without a bunch of extra garbage.

### 5/5 — Really look at this app if you are serious

### 5/5 — Better than Chronometer

### 5/5 — Excellent app… much more info than other highly rated apps.

*2024-03-16, version 3.1.6*

It was easy to learn. Just try clicking any of the items, like the date, to see a breakdown of amounts of many vitamins and minerals that are in the foods eaten that day. By clicking on any of these vitamins or minerals it is also possible to see how much of that vitamin or mineral came from each individual food eaten. It shows the amount and percentage of each vitamin and mineral based on your goals and the daily recommended amounts. I was so impressed to even be able to see the amount of oxalic acid, phytic acid, zinc, copper in each food I ate in the day. It is handy also to add a food before eating it, to see what it will do for the numbers. I have learned a lot and the more I use this app, the more I like it and am learning. Very easy to add a recipe and custom foods and can scan the bar code of the food. Although you only see a few key vitamins and minerals listed at the top of a day, there are many many more to see by clicking on the date or a food item or any vitamin or mineral. The more I use this app, the more I like it. Others apps I have tried are just extremely limited. I don’t see advertisements and I am not using a paid version of this app. Thank you to the producers of this app! This is way better and easier to use than other apps I have tried and some are only free for a small trial period. For those who want to know more than just protein, calories and carbs, this is an excellent app and easy to just learn by experimenting and clicking on each item. It is way better than I expected for doing whatever a person needs to do for eating a balanced diet based on any health concerns. Thank you for this very helpful app!!

### 5/5 — Better than Chronometer

*2024-01-18*

I like Eaterpad and the developer Edward Chen. He has responded to my inquiries helpfully. I have a dietitian, who requires the use of Chronometer which I don't like. today I'm taking a second look at Eaterpad as I anticipate ending my relationship with my current dietitian because they claim to practice "evidence-based "nutritional guidance, but I can find no evidence for their recommendations.
