### 2/5 — Wanted to like it, too difficult to add beverages

*2026-01-22*

I really wanted to like this app. The nutrition app space for cycling is a bit limited. I only tried using the app for two days because it doesn’t seem possible to add premade liquid beverages (coconut water); for some reason the app assumes that any product you add is a power added to water. How are the coke drinking cyclist using this app?

**Developer response:** Hi Rider1Up. When adding a product that is meant for meals (not for intake during workout) you can select 'Other items' and there you don't have the powder issue. But we understand the confusion and will add a 'Drink' option next to 'Sports drink'. Also we'll add Coconut Water to our own database.

Are you willing to give it another try? Feel free to ask anything at info@eatmyride.com

### 3/5 — Das geht besser

*2025-05-04, version 2.12.5*

### 4/5 — Support A+ work

*2025-01-07*

Had a few questions regarding my sweat test, connectivity with strava and interoperability with wahoo.
“Contact us” lead me to WhatsApp and I didn’t have high hopes of hearing back. They got back to me immediately. Walked me through my questions and just generally had great insight/feedback.
I used this once so far to fuel for a 40mi ride & I PR’ed the ride.

This could be improved by synching to iOS health app which has a lot of the data you enter manually here.
Figuring out the interoperability with Wahoo similar to what they do with Garmin would be game changer.
Opening up to other food apps such as carb manager or others out there to avoid having to load food into two separate apps.

### 3/5 — Nutrition syncing

*2024-11-02, version 2.12.2*

Firstly, the app idea it’s very good and will help a lot of people but You should find the way to synchronise it with Apple health or any nutrition app to don’t duplicate the information and waste our time. Any update coming regarding this? Thanks

### 2/5 — Zeer complex

*2024-09-04, version 2.12.1*

### 3/5 — Can’t connect Strava

*2024-01-25*

I'm receiving information that the number of athletes connected to Strava is exceeded.

**Developer response:** Hi, sorry for our late reply. This issue was solved within a day. It happened due to Strava putting us to their new API with limited capacity. We hope it works fine for you again since then.

### 3/5 — Wahoo Integration

*2022-12-30, version 1.26.7*

Great app/ idea! I struggle to get the right amount of food intake for longer rides but since there is no wahoo integration I will not purchase the premium version. Are you guys planning on that?

### 2/5 — Not Ready

*2022-10-19*

Has potential but right now is really clunky. Having to plan a route and upload it is not practical day to day. Should be able to just enter a ride time. It may not be as accurate but I would go to the trouble of uploading a route for races or really long days in the saddle. Entering in foods is really slow. The list of foods is really small. No Wahoo integration. TrainerRoad/Zwift integration seems like a no brainer. I will check back in a few months and see if the developers actually listen.

**Developer response:** Hi Art, thank you for your review. Please be aware that you can as well just provide distance and time, so no route needed exactly for this reason. With regards to food, the difficulty is to have reliable values and there is f.i. work involved to set the oxidation speed of each bar/gel/drink. Could you be a bit more specific on which products you miss?

With regards to Wahoo, we do connect so your Wahoo rides come in and you can evaluate them. More features will soon be added like train the gut status. To have notes on your Wahoo device is in the hands of Wahoo, we are in discussion since 2,5 years so we are as eager as you to have this.

What kind of TR/Zwift integration would you think of and why is that a no brainer?

Looking forward to hear your replies, you can also email us if you like at info@eatmyride.com

Thanks,
Joram

### 4/5 — Worth a shot

*2022-09-28*

Saw a YouTube video about the app and decided to try it. It’s easy enough to operate and the user interface with the widgets on Garmin is easy to set up and use. The only complaints I have is that I wish there was a way to link TrainerRoad to the app to pull over scheduled workouts AND I wish there was an easier way to add food. The selection of food to plan your meals is VERY limited and difficult to add your own. Maybe make it similar to my fitness pal and allow the camera to take pictures of barcodes or something. Other than that it’s been helpful so far with planning my ride nutrition vs taping my meal plan to my stem on long races

### 3/5 — viele bugs

*2022-09-27, version 1.25.3*

### 4/5 — App is now working

*2022-07-27, version 1.23.1*

With the latest update the app is working again

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — No support!

*2025-12-12*

Don’t waste your time. Great concept. Terrible implementation.

### 1/5 — Disappointing

*2025-10-06, version 2.12.9*

Sadly I spent money. The TrainingPeaks sync doesn’t work as expected, workouts are never on the desired date. The German translation is very poor but you can’t change language in the app. I dropped them several messages without a single response. For a paid app!

### 1/5 — Good concept but recommendations are off

*2025-07-14, version 2.12.5*

The concept is interesting but it does not take into consideration at all the profile of the race. I ended up starting Mont Ventoux climb with the App telling me “finish eating” a bummer. How come anyone can climb for 90min without anything. Same for my next race. It advices me to climb for 1h30 with two gels of 25gr each. Very disappointed.

### 1/5 — Werkt voor geen meter

*2025-01-20, version 2.12.4*

Dus nutteloze app

### 1/5 — Not linking with strava

*2025-01-07*

The app is not linking with my strava app

### 1/5 — Logged in once, ….

*2022-10-01*

Was able to log in once, and will not allow me again. Tried deleting, tried waiting… etc.. app needs work

### 1/5 — Last update Broke things

*2022-08-19*

This is a pretty bad app. The developer really needs to start addressing the issues

Also update made the app even worse. More broken stuff

I wanted to cancel the app

Going to cancel aubscription

### 1/5 — Won’t let me change ride elevation

*2022-07-30*

Thought I would give this app a try, but when I try to plan a ride it won’t let me change elevation on a hill or mountain ride. So when I entered a 43 mile mountain ride (should be 3500 ft of elevation) the elevation reverts back to 0 after trying to manually change. Choosing an endurance rides saying I need 0 g of carbs???? I’m sorry, that is just completely wrong.

### 1/5 — Awful

*2022-07-09, version 1.22.11*

App is good in principle but it doesn’t do what it says it will! Not importing any of my training peaks plan at all.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — No support - Does not work

*2025-05-27*

The app does not work as claimed. The nutrition plan in the app is different from what is sent to my Garmin. After multiple attempts to get support - with no response - I give up. Don’t waste your time or money.

### 5/5 — Gute App fürs Fueling auf dem Rad

*2024-11-04, version 2.12.2*

### 5/5 — EatMyRide March 3 ‘23

*2023-03-03*

The EatMyRide tool has elevated the quality of my training to another level. It has left me with the feeling of “ I wish I had found this sooner”. It is very simple to setup using the Garmin IQ app and your garmin device. It displays real time insight to how you are fueling your training and races that can be customized to match your needs. It has allowed me to execute fueling strategies to the gram and better understand nutrition periodization as a whole. The app is easy to use and analyze your fueling afterwards. The app has some really interesting features such as the personal metabolism, glycogen, and race ready metrics that will evolve when given enough personal data that will become even more beneficial.

### 5/5 — Mit den neuen Updates funktioniert alles

*2023-02-25, version 1.27.0*

Update:

### 5/5 — Great app

*2022-10-01*

Customer service is very responsive. If you every have any questions they will get back to you super quick ( within a few minutes). The app has been updated and is very easy to work with and set up your plans. Garmin integration is very easy and works great on the road. It’s very easy to add your own items if they are not already in the database. Overall it’s worth a try if you are on the fence.

### 5/5 — Accurate glycogen fueling recommendations

*2022-09-16*

Under fueling rides or wrong food choices pre, during or post rides are common mistakes I see with many athletes I coach. Even the national and state champions. Under fueling (especially carbs) is a main contributor when i see athletes not making the anticipated gains from their hard work in training. The carb/fat burn rates in this app are spot on with metabolic lab tests I have for athletes. I love that the planned workouts in TraningPeaks seamlessly migrate into the EatMyRide app for athletes to then know how much of what to eat to fuel their training. I just need to use the workout builder feature in TP and EatMyRide does the rest. Athletes can also use Strava routes, enter a few ballpark estimates and accurate fueling recommendations pop up. Most common nutrition logging apps are sound for team sports or weightlifting where energy burn is much lower than for the volume cyclists need to train. These apps fall short for endurance athletes - especially cyclists - as far as energy needs in my experience. I am excited to be able to add this tool to better help athletes as we start to think about our 2023 goals of more championships.

### 5/5 — Das letzte Update ist Klasse.

*2022-08-13, version 1.24.6*

### 5/5 — V1.1.1 update (pt2)

*2020-09-07, version 1.1.1*

Updated review:

With the help from the support team I am happy to share that the App is now working as the developers intended. Here are the updates for the various elements within the App:

1) Strava, Komoot route data can now be read and used for nutrition calculation for your rides.
2) Garmin data is used for nutrition calculation but is used as pure example data - so specific rides/routes are not there to be seen.
3) GPX files can be imported. So if you have Garmin data, then export these from your Garmin account and import the GPX files in the App.

All in all. Very pleased the App is now fully functioning for me. The nutrition guidance and timing has always been spot on for me so fixing the route import issues in the new App has really put this App back where it belongs - #1

### 5/5 — First of its kind

*2020-07-13, version 1.0.2*

Very well made app that allows one to create a detailed (bespoke) nutrition plan for longer rides. Haven’t seen this anywhere else yet! Thanks EatMyRide!
