## What is Eatrack Food & Symptom Tracker?

Do you often experience symptoms after eating – like stomach aches, skin rashes, bloating, or headaches – and wonder if certain foods or intolerances could be the cause? With Eatrack, you can easily track your meals, drinks, medications, symptoms, and digestive health. Based on your entries, you’ll get valuable insights to help you spot patterns and better understand possible triggers.

WHY USE A FOOD & SYMPTOM TRACKER?
Scientific studies show that keeping a food and symptom diary can really help if you’re dealing with IBS, IBD, MCAS, or intolerances like histamine, fructose, lactose, sorbitol and more:
• Up to 70% of people gain better control over their symptoms (American Journal of Gastroenterology).
• A food diary increases the chance of spotting patterns by 50% (Journal of Nutrition).

• Track symptoms by type, intensity, and time of day
• Document your bowel movements using the Bristol Stool Chart – and monitor changes over time
• Add ingredients quickly using a barcode or text scanner
• Track activities like exercise and relaxation – and see how they influence your symptoms
• Record your stress levels during meals to help identify emotional triggers
• Automatically highlight potential triggers like histamine, gluten, fructose, sorbitol, lactose, or salicylates
• Mark foods high in FODMAPs if you’re sensitive
• Use clear statistics and AI-powered analysis to uncover patterns across multiple days
• Let the AI help you understand connections between food, symptoms, digestion, activities, and stress

### 5/5 — So far good

*2026-06-22*

I like the app so far, but I hate that it is only free for 3 days!! I do not do monthly subscription, would do I time purchase if price was low.

**Developer response:** Thank you so much for your feedback! I’m really happy to hear you like Eatrack so far. I totally understand that subscriptions are not for everyone and that some people prefer a one-time purchase model. We currently offer a 3-day free trial so everyone can fully try the app before deciding.

Thanks as well for sharing your thoughts on pricing – feedback like this helps us shape Eatrack in the future 🙌

Best regards

### 4/5 — Très bonne appli

*2026-06-19*

Super appli !

Thomas

### 2/5 — Keeps erasing entries!

*2026-04-04*

The first time was after an update. Today, no update, but I find my ENTIRE day’s entries from the day before gone. This is unacceptable, not even a free version should require us to have to recall an entire day’s EVERYTHING just in case the app we use wants to delete. I paid for this and not quite sure it was worth it. I’ve reported this issue to the dev, suggesting backups, but alas. No fix and now my data is gone AGAIN. Also, the “AI” is not worth it. You can’t even have a dialogue or ask your own questions, just preset and impersonal “insight” that you are only ALLOWED to ask every 5 days. The app fixates on every word in entries with no real intelligence to know that just because a word is used does not make it an actual ingredient. I will be looking for another app, I was fine to overlook the latter but sabotaging my data is an absolute deal breaker, I shouldn’t have to babysit an app.

**Developer response:** Hi, thank you for your detailed feedback – and I’m really sorry for your experience.

Losing entries like that is absolutely not acceptable, and I completely understand how frustrating that must feel. Your data should never just disappear. What you’re describing is not expected behavior, and we take this very seriously.

In most cases, entries are not actually deleted but may not be displayed correctly due to a sync or loading issue. In a few rare cases, this can also be related to using the app in anonymous mode combined with iOS offloading the app, which can lead to the account not being properly reconnected. We’re currently investigating this to prevent it from happening.

Please reach out to me directly at thomas@eatrack.app with a few details (device, date, account type), so I can look into your case personally and help resolve this.

Regarding the AI feature: it’s designed to analyze and structure all data from your diary to identify patterns and correlations. That said, it obviously works best when consistent data is available — so I understand why it may not feel helpful if entries appear to be missing.

Thanks again for your honest feedback — it really helps us improve. I’d really appreciate the chance to make this right for you 🙏

Thomas

### 1/5 — NOT FREE

*2026-03-31*

You get 3 days free trial to a yearly subscription. Tried deleting account can’t do that either. So tired of the switch bate “free” apps!

**Developer response:** Thanks for your feedback.

The app offers a 3-day free trial before any subscription starts – this is clearly communicated upfront in the App Store and within the app. There is no charge during the trial period, and it can be cancelled anytime via your Apple account settings.

Regarding account deletion: this is definitely possible – you can find the option at the very bottom of your profile under “Delete Account”. If you had trouble finding the option, please reach out to me at support@eatrack.app and I’ll help you remove your account quickly.

I understand that subscription models can feel frustrating, but they allow us to continuously improve and maintain the app.

### 1/5 — Disappointing

*2026-03-04*

It’s just a 3-day free trial then they have payment options if you want to continue.

**Developer response:** Thank you for your review.
Many apps start a subscription immediately and then offer a 3- or 7-day trial. If it isn’t canceled in time, the subscription renews automatically.

We chose a different approach: Eatrack can be tested for 3 days without starting a subscription, and only afterwards you can decide whether you’d like to continue using it.

At the same time, we continuously improve the app and maintain the databases behind it. To keep developing and supporting Eatrack long-term, we rely on a sustainable business model.

That said, we really appreciate your feedback — what trial duration would feel more reasonable for you? If you’d like to share more details, feel free to reach out to me anytime at support@eatrack.app.

Best, Thomas

### 4/5 — Great

*2026-03-01*

Very good. Would be good if you can choose your common symptoms and foods from a list of favourites when inputting.

**Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback! That’s a great idea – being able to quickly select favorite symptoms and foods would definitely make tracking even easier. We’ll keep that in mind for future updates. Thanks for the suggestion!

Best regards

### 5/5 — Wirklich tolle App- intuitiv im Handling

*2026-02-16*
