## What is EatRight?

Why try it? Keeping a food diary makes you more likely to meet your goals. In one study people that kept track of what they were eating lost TWICE as much weight.

EatRight keeps you focused on what you're eating without forcing you to calculate exact portions and calories. You don't have to search for every little item on your plate. You can spend a little more time enjoying your meals. Just swipe up to start counting.

"I love your app, too many people try to count calories or points & it is too much work. I love how this app works with IOS7 with just swipes I can enter my food." - Kimberly E.

"I am a dietician and your app is one of the first that I have found that I like. But the only thing that's missing is a 'fats' category." - Shannon B.

◉ Designed for iOS 7 and 8 and ready to help you eat better.

Instead, break your meals and snacks into the basic food groups and keep track of portions. It's a simpler way to make sure you're eating a balanced diet.

Some info on common portions is included for each group, and you can also track your fluid intake and the amount of time you exercise every day.

Every day starts with a fresh checklist and a nice background image to inspire you. Scroll up to reveal the buttons for each tracked item - the custom background blurs out of focus. Your totals form a bar graph so it's easy to see how well you're doing.

### 5/5 — Simple

*2022-12-14*

This is a great little app-simple and easy to use. It’s great for people who want to track their nutrition intake without calorie or macro counting.

### 1/5 — Unable to customize

*2019-01-24*

This app is worth nothing since it’s impossible to customize, total scam! I want to be reimbursed!

### 4/5 — Simple, easy way to track food not just count calories

*2019-01-11*

Simple and easy way to track fruits, veggies, protein, grains etc. Great for tracking while doing the CAIRO diet. Need to add an option for custom categories such as alcohol, sweets or junk food.

### 1/5 — Unable to customize as promised

*2018-04-10*

I purchased this app based on a description that said you could change your target servings for a customized plan. All you can change is the colour used for the category and the screen image! This cannot be done - I am following a diet much higher in fruits and vegetables than the default and I am unable to change my targets. I also find the entry of items a little cumbersome.

### 4/5 — This was just what I was looking for

*2018-01-02*

This simple app is just what I was looking for. Thanks! I custom set my limits based on the Australian dietary guidelines. The only addition I’d hugely appreciate is what in the Australian guidelines are called ‘discretionary’ foods which are foods that aren’t so healthy such as alcohol, lollies etc and which active adults are allowed 0-2.5 serves. I’d love to be able to log these too on this app. I hope this is some helpful feedback

### 2/5 — Good idea, but not ideal.

*2017-12-13*

You should be able to track portions for each meal of the day. I find myself forgetting if I entered everything, or sometimes I over enter food groups. Having it broken up into separate would be easier to track. Also, I follow a mostly Paleo diet so the fact that you can’t cut out the Grains section because it’s “essential” is bothersome. Also the Oils category is optional? What about healthy fats, people? Let the user decide which food groups are essential to their own body.

Overall I like the simplified the app, I just am not a fan of the format or settings options.

### 1/5 — Horable app

*2017-08-16*

I don't like this app refund please

### 1/5 — Yuck waste of money

*2017-03-28*

I wish it would let you customize size of serving:(

### 3/5 — Need custom food groups

*2016-12-30*

If I was able to add my own custom food groups like nuts/seeds, legumes, and starchy vegetables, the app would be perfect for me. They wouldn't need to have special icons, just text. A dietitian has put me on a diet to gain weight, and all of those categories are included. I also like the idea of being able to reorder the progress bars. Then I could make it look more like the food plan I've gotten used to.
I don't think I'll be able to use this app until that feature is added.

### 1/5 — Not worth it

*2016-01-28*

Not worth the money at all. All you do is log what you eat. Does not give you caloric intake. Lifesum is a THOUSAND times BETTER AND it's free!
