## What is Eatsë?

Dinner, figured out.

You know the moment. It's almost dinner and there's no plan — again. Finding something, scaling it to how many you're feeding, checking it against what everyone will and won't eat, writing the list, getting to the store. It's a real job. And it comes back every single day.

Eatsë takes the heavy part off your plate. It suggests a week of dinners that already fit your life, scales the recipes, and builds one grocery list — so what's left for you is the easy part: pick what sounds good, and cook.

It suggests. You choose. You're always in control.

HOW IT WORKS

Set your taste once — what you don't eat, what you actually like, how much you cook, who's at the table. Then each week, tap "Add meals" and Eatsë surfaces a short list of dinner ideas built around your preferences. Pick the ones you want, assign them to days, and Eatsë writes the full recipes — proper quantities scaled to your servings — and pulls everything into one categorized grocery list, organized the way you shop.

The week comes pre-set, with today on top. You never start from a blank slate.

WHAT YOU GET

- A week of dinner suggestions tuned to your tastes, your time, and your household — variety without spending your Sunday on it
- Full step-by-step recipes with quantities built into the steps
- One consolidated grocery list, grouped by category and shareable with whoever shops
- Recipes scaled to your servings, from one plate to a full table — right-sized, so you're not stuck eating the same thing all week
- Set your no-go list once — allergies and foods you avoid are respected every week
- Ratings that teach Eatsë what you like, so next week's suggestions get more "you"

WHO IT'S FOR

The person who runs dinner for the whole house and carries the mental load of it. The couple or solo cook who'd rather not deal with a four-serving recipe for one or two. Anyone who wants real meals at home but keeps bouncing off the part before the cooking. If "what's for dinner?" is the question you're tired of answering, this is for you.

WHY EATSË

Recipe apps pile on more options — you still have to decide, scale, and shop. Meal kits run $12–18 a serving and lock you into someone else's menu. Eatsë sits in between: the finding, the scaling, and the list are done — but you cook your own food, your way, for about the price of one takeout dinner a month.

It's not a recipe library to scroll, not a calorie counter, not a social feed. It's the weekly dinner system — find, scale, list — minus the part you dread. The suggestions get sharper the more you rate, so it feels more like yours every week.

### 5/5 — A game-changer for solo, gluten-free living with ADHD

This app is amazing. I’m gluten-free, live alone, and have ADHD — and this app feels like it was made specifically for me. Meal planning used to feel overwhelming, but now it’s actually manageable. The gluten-free filters save me so much time/stress, and the structure it provides is exactly what my brain needs. No more decision fatigue, no more wasted groceries.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.3.0 — 2026-07-24

A few things that make your week easier to run.

• Share a recipe you cooked. Pick one of your recipes, add a photo of how it turned out, and send it to us.
• One less step to a full week — the meals you pick now land on your week on their own, with a quiet "Cooking…" note while each recipe comes together. Hold and drag any meal to move it.
• Macros, handled — not tracked. Eatsë works out the numbers on your recipes; a new toggle in Profile shows or hides them. Off anytime.
• A new app icon.

Plus a fix so your week reads right at a glance: meals you've rated now show a gold star.

Dinner, figured out.

### 1.2.4 — 2026-07-09

Make any recipe yours. Tap an ingredient to swap it or leave it out — or just say what you want changed, like "use half as much" or "swap the shrimp for chicken" — and the recipe updates on the spot, no waiting. Meals you remove now show in your archive right away.

### 1.2.3 — 2026-07-01

Sharper recipes, smoother weeks.

- More accurate ingredient amounts and cook times — a recipe matches what's actually on your plate
- Suggestions that learn faster from your ratings
- Cleaner grocery lists and a bunch of rough edges smoothed out

### 1.2.2 — 2026-06-22

Dinner, figured out — now better.

Here's what Eatsë does: it suggests a week of dinners built around your tastes, your time, and who's at your table, scales the recipes, and builds one grocery list. You pick what sounds good, and cook. The hard part is done. The choice stays yours.

In this update:
- The week comes pre-set, with today floated to the top — you never start from a blank slate
- Recipes scale to your servings, from one plate to a full table
- One grocery list, grouped by category and easy to share with whoever shops
- Set your no-go list once — allergies and foods you avoid are respected every week
- Ratings teach Eatsë what you like, so next week gets more "you"

Built by one person who couldn't answer "what's for dinner?" without spiraling — and got tired of it. Found a bug or have an idea? Email hello@greydoglabs.com. A real person reads every message.

— Jason, Eatsë
