No notification in app that this happened. In fact, the app still shows out for delivery. While I did get an email that I will get a refund (let’s hope), the chat experience was awful. Clearly the chat person did not care what happened and had no internet in actually fixing the situation. It has gotten worse and worse. We just order food, they outsourced the order to a 3rd party driver, the driver only grabbed half the order, so we were missing all the sushi we ordered. They said they couldn’t have a driver deliver the other half since they outsourced it. They said they called the restaurant to confirm the restaurant didn’t answer, but I called the restaurant and they never got a call. Instead of a refund of the food not delivered, they gave an EIGHT DOLLAR COUPON to order from them again. What shotty business practice to not refund to ensure the money stays in their business. Such an immoral practice. I hope they’re sued for this illegal practice. The app however is non functional. I can’t login. I changed my password three times and it still gives me a “login failed” error. Eventually the app stopped showing me a keyboard when I tapped on a text field. I restart the app and my entire food order is gone. Epic. I feel like a sucker for relying on this garbage company. Mark-ups and additional fees are astronomical, but what are you gonna do. However in the last couple years, deliveries have been a nightmare just about every time. Either we get zero notification that food has been delivered, so it sits out in the cold for half an hour, or the driver decides not to walk all the way to our door and leaves it on the sidewalk two doors down. But don’t bother talking to customer service—I’ve been told they contract out for drivers, so they have no control over delivery quality. What is the point of customer service, then? They best they ever do is give a $5 coupon that expires in like 30 days or whatever—so I can have another bad experience, but at least I’ll save five bucks. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — DO NOT USE EATSTREET *2026-04-28, version 3.11.2* They don’t send orders to the restaurants, then they won’t REFUND THE ORDER. But if you contact them the robot will LIE and say they already refunded it. THEY ARE STEALING. They should have dissolved after they filed for bankruptcy because this company is a joke. ### 1/5 — NO SUPPORT NO HELP- USE LITERALLY ANYTHING ELSE *2025-12-12, version 3.11.1* I had a situation in which I had ordered food that never got delivered. The delivery person only called (no voicemail or text message sent) and then when I called back it didn’t even go to voicemail it just rang forever. I called the restaurant and they told me there was nothing they could do because they had closed out the delivery drivers and weren’t able or willing to do anything else. When I contacted Eat Street they did NOTHING, except suggest I call the restaurant (which I already had done). At this point I assume that whom ever the delivery driver is just took my whole order- when I called the restaurant they didn’t even give the option to go pick it up. Eat street is garbage and you’d be better off ordering anywhere else if you can. ### 1/5 — Worst app ever *2025-11-26, version 3.11.1* Its my first time ordering and iv waited an hour and they sent me a second message and told me my order has been delayed and iv waited another hour and it still didn’t arrive ### 1/5 — Horrible experience! *2025-04-26, version 3.10.22* I had the most HORRIBLE experience on each street. I purchased from mama’s noodle bar and it was $18.83, my order never arrived, they never updated me or emailed me back NOTHING. I tried emailing multiple times and they never emailed back, I tracked my order and my said delivered but nothing was waiting outside, I tried going to the neighbors and seeing if they possibly got the wrong house, but nothing. I found out the restaurant I ordered from never even shipped out, and the dasher refused to pick up my order even after giving a $3 tip. I received a email shortly after 2 days from eat street “unfortunately we won’t be giving you the full price back, we’ll refund you $5” and that was it, they declined to pay the full $18.83 and nor the dasher. I swear I never write reviews but this app is so terrible that I felt the need to. The hours they have for restaurants are wrong, so half the time your order gets cancelled. I’m a college student and I have a student meal plan card that works on the app (which is the only reason I downloaded it in the first place) and restaurants can’t refund me because I pay through the app and I NEVER get actually refunded. It lets me know the nearest restaurants near me which is pretty neat, honestly didn’t know some where even around my area. Since I like paying with cash ( don’t like using credit card online much) it’s even easier with no hassle or worries. Another thing I liked about the app, when a certain restaurant was closed when I made an order, EatStreet called me letting me know they were closed. Anyways try the app out it’s very simple to use and well you can always uninstall if it’s not to you liking. After about 45 minutes with no update I contacted customer service and was assured my order was being picked up by the driver. I waited another half hour and reached out again. They reassured me again that my order was on its way and I couldn’t get a refund since the driver had my food. After another half hour I reach out a final time and they tried telling me to wait AGAIN and I refused to wait until I at least had proof the driver was coming. They then finally told me after two hours of waiting they couldn’t contact the driver and my order was canceled. So I was being lied to and the driver was never on his way. All I wanted to know was that it was not being delivered so I could order lunch elsewhere. I’ve been using eat street for a few years now and have had too many issues like this. App doesn’t update with status of food and I have no way of knowing when my food arrives. Last time it was delivered to the wrong location and I had to look at other apartment complexes to find it (also will mention I never received a text or any info on the app it was delivered). It also arrived cold and 30 minutes after the delivery time.
