I get error messages and can’t even do basic searching. Thought it might be my WiFi (troubleshoot crazy ideas) but I’ve now tried work, home and WiFi turned off - same thing. Insomma un’App da quattro soldi , purtroppo perché l’idea è’ molto carina, che non ha nemmeno la funzione “‘mostra password” Quando dici che la farebbe meglio un bambino di cinque anni… fa passare la voglia di usare il Servizio!!! ### 1/5 — Schöne Idee schlecht umgesetzt *2023-11-24* Funktioniert nicht: kryptische Fehlermeldungen bei der Suche nach Orten, beim Versuch zu buchen und beim Versuch sich zu registrieren. Damit leider unbrauchbar. Sehr schade! ### 2/5 — Unusable *2023-10-06* I’ve had this app on my phone for some time but haven’t needed it. I’m relocating. I figured this would be a cool way to meet new people in the area. The app is unusable because it just freezes up. I can tap anywhere on the screen and it ignores me. Delete. ### 1/5 — This app is a fraud! *2023-03-05* I booked and paid for a meal experience in Seville. I showed up but no one answered at the address provided. I texted the number for the host, which was provided by Eatwith, only to learn that the host doesn’t even live in Seville. The host told me to cancel the event. Upon doing so, I immediately received an email from this faceless company telling me that no refund is available because the cancellation was too late. This app is a complete fraud, designed to steal your money based on fraudulent “experiences” that don’t even exist. I reached out to the company but did not get a response. Next stop, BBB and Attorney General. DO NOT USE THIS FRAUDULENT APP!!! ### 2/5 — La idea genial, la app va fatal *2023-02-13* La idea es genial y hace mucho buscaba algo asi, pero la app tiene muchisimos defectos. Empezando por que no se puede cambiar la ubicación una vez la escoges, tuve que hacerme un usuario nuevo, pero no puedo ponerla en la app movil xq no me deja cerrar sesión… algo tan basico como cerrar sesión no esta a la mano.. ### 1/5 — Gift cards that expire quickly and limited experiences *2023-01-07* I was very excited to receive a gift card for EatWith, but I was disappointed when the card (a $300 value) expired in 1 year. I was hopeful to use it in my home city of San Diego, but there were very few options. I tried finding options while traveling, but there simply weren’t any that supported my dietary restrictions. I was looking forward to being a frequent user, but my first experience with EarWith has been terrible. ### 1/5 — Only commercial providers, no social dining *2022-10-01* This app is not for social dining or meal sharing. EatWith needs to proved a better screening process for its hosts and get a real telephone number for an actual chef, not some 3rd party business stand. ### 1/5 — Horrible host experience *2019-09-12* I was told about this app & it is very difficult to navigate as a host the app has no capability to actually build your event thru the app. It’s a play of AirBNB but it isn’t as seemless as AirBNB it doesn’t help you build the event in the app. I don’t want to have to log on to their site because even that is hard to navigate when you’re in on your phone ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Was great. I try to do a search I input all filters, city number of people days of the week types of cuisine, and all it does is tell me I need to put in a search query. This app is completely not user-friendly. It’s absurd how non-intuitive it is. I love how it is using food to bring people together and making it easy to explore a city off-the-beaten-path. Every VizEat event I've been to has been memorable in its own way, whether because of the interesting stories around the table, the unbelievable food, or the welcoming presence of the host. From the moment you walk in the door, VizEat hosts make you feel like an old friend, and this is a very special feeling.
