## What is EB Tracking?

Enduro Book GPS Tracker turns your phone into a live GPS beacon for endurance sports events.

Link your device to your Enduro Book account, hit start, and your location is streamed in real-time for spectators and event organisers to follow your progress on course.

Features:
- Real-time GPS tracking during races
- Background tracking — works with your phone on standby
- Automatic offline storage, synced when you're back online
- Secure device linking to your Enduro Book account.
- Biometric authentication to protect your data
- Low battery impact with battery optimisation

How it works:
1. Create an account on endurobook.com
2. Open the app and link your device with a one-time code
3. Tap "Start Tracking" at the start of your race
4. Your position appears live on the Enduro Book race map

Built for athletes, race organisers, and the fans watching from home.

Requires an Enduro Book account.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.2.4 — 2026-08-18

- More accurate live maps
   - No more accidental stops — the Stop button on the tracking notification now asks you to confirm (tap twice within 10 seconds), so a stray tap on the lock screen can't end your race tracking. Starting a ride manually also re-enables auto-tracking for it.
  - Tracking that recovers itself (Android) — if your phone silently pauses GPS mid-ride (aggressive battery savers), the app now detects it within seconds and restarts tracking on its own.

### 1.2.3 — 2026-08-06

Improved tracking performance

### 1.2.2 — 2026-08-05

1.2.2 — Reliability release
    • Auto-track hardening: rides start more dependably from your activity schedule, and now recover automatically if the app is closed or interrupted mid-ride
    • Stop any ride straight from the tracking notification
    • Login and device credentials are now stored fully encrypted on both platforms
    • Steadier live tracking: faster reconnection after connection drops
    • Many stability and battery improvements

### 1.2.1 — 2026-07-29

Reliability improvements for automatic ride tracking.

• More reliable reconnection after signal loss
• Improved background battery and network behaviour

### 1.2.0 — 2026-07-22

• Automated tracking for RSVP'd group activity rides!
• Faster startup — removed the unlock step
• Fixed the logo being cut off at the top of the screen
• Reworked the tracking screen so it scrolls and the controls stay reachable
• Smoother connection status indicator
• Performance and stability improvements
