Granted, you scroll down to a certain point and the live section pops up but it’s not as intrusive as it was. Now, the experience is probably four stars but the way it was before the Live feature took over was perfect and I’d say the app was 5 stars as it did exactly what I needed it to do. Sadly, companies continuously improve themselves in to a position where they capitalise on as much cash as they can for investors while reducing the user experience for the customer … but on this occasion, eBay returned to something that’s useable again. ### 1/5 — They ruined this app *2026-09-07, version 6.272.0* eBay used to have a great home page, with items I was interested in. I have never purchased any cacti? Some said delivered and some said refunded all during the period 6-13 August. I took screenshots so have proof they were there in my purchased list, although when I tried to open them it said ‘search not found’ and they have now disappeared again. However, it is very concerning that eBay is showing other peoples purchases as being mine, even if in error. I recently had a very unprofessional experience with a seller, snydersjunkyard. I made a reasonable offer and explained why I could not pay the asking price. Instead of simply declining my offer, the seller responded: “Ha I love how u know it was used. GET LOST.” What is even more frustrating is that I apparently have no way to leave feedback about this experience. The feedback option disappeared, apparently after the seller blocked me. If eBay allows sellers to block buyers and effectively prevents those buyers from leaving feedback or reporting inappropriate behavior, how are buyers supposed to hold sellers accountable? eBay should provide buyers with a reliable way to report rude and disrespectful communication. Sellers should not be able to simply avoid accountability after treating buyers this way. I don’t want to resell everything I buy. ### 2/5 — customer service *2026-09-06, version 6.272.0* honestly customer service only works if you fore go trying to resolve issues with the seller directly. because of their policy only being active for 30 days after you order something it means the seller has ample opportunity to scam you and tell you that they will be resolving the issue long enough that eBay will no longer step in I had $400 stolen from me basically and I was very patient with the seller and kept trying to resolve it through them when I finally realised that they were not going to send me the item no matter how much they said they were eBay would no longer step in and help me get my money back and get the issue resolved so if you insist on using this app do not try to resolve things with the seller only go through eBay immediately ### 2/5 — It's a rip-off. *2026-09-06, version 6.272.0* They stopped selling on this app. When I calculate the earnings, eBay keeps more than half, and I barely make a small percentage. EBay functioned well on my iPad M5 pro but not any more despite deleting/reinstalling a number of times. When I do a search it’s very slow, often results in a blank screen, or shuts down and is even slower when restarted often with the same results. I have persevered with it but have now started also using other apps. EBay is the only app which is almost unusable on my iPad and I have many other apps all of which function perfectly. I don’t what eBay has done but they need to go back at least half a year and make it work properly. I used eBay as my first selling app it’s so easy to use and very trustworthy app. I still use to this day. Highly recommend eBay.
