### 4/5 — Quick and easy app

*2022-03-13, version 1.3.3*

For fast reference on the tide in your area this is the app to have. Very simple to understand. Just wish the time was still on the actual high and low tide instead of just visuals alone, otherwise I would recommend this app.

### 3/5 — App stopped working properly

*2022-01-28, version 1.3.3*

I used this app daily as I live on a large west coast bay and kayak often. Suddenly it stopped working and was confused on location. Now it doesn’t give me tide times or heights, only the wavy line shows. I love the app when it works!

### 4/5 — It was good while it lasted

*2022-01-22, version 1.3.3*

This had been my go-to app for timing oystering and clamming on Cape Cod. I loved the simple, no nonsense UI. All the information I need with no clutter or advertising.

Sometime around the release of iOS 15.2.1, times vanished from the tide chart. 😕

If the developer is still working, an update would be warmly welcomed.

### 4/5 — Convenient app

*2021-08-30, version 1.3.3*

This tide app is quite simple….which is its advantage. You can easily find the exact time for high and low tides. From that you sort of guess the intermediate tide times, but, again, it is the simplicity that I like.

### 4/5 — Would like scrolling feature

*2021-02-21, version 1.3.3*

I love the clean visuals. Love that there’s a widget. But I just wish I could scroll through the curve to see what the tides would be for any given time for the day. Can only see times for high and low on the curve, and current tide, so you have to guess if you’re interested in a time in between.

### 4/5 — Ebb Tide

*2020-04-14, version 1.3.3*

Great tool for boating and cruising!
It’s on my watch for quick access all day.
Have to reset things from time to time. And have to fiddle with the graph before it updates on opening. 4/14 still having to mess with the app randomly to make it read properly) will happily give 5 stars when debug happens.

### 5/5 — Simple, basic!

*2019-07-09, version 1.3.3*

Gives you the graphical information that you need quickly and easily. Intuitive with nothing fancy.

### 5/5 — Trinity Bay Tide

*2019-05-31, version 1.3.3*

I live on the West Bank of Trinity Bay, Texas and tide levels are important to me daily even though the level change is minor. Tide level affects the access to open bay waters. So I have a stake in the water marked to indicate tide level . Love living on the Bay!calvincope

### 4/5 — Love this app

*2019-04-29, version 1.3.3*

Love it! I go to the beach quite often and you can only drive on the beach with a lower tide. It’s always nice to know where the tide is. It also makes a difference with boggie boarding. I find the best time is high tide.

One small issue. My watch complication is off. It currently says low tide is in 64 hrs. And I know that that’s not right. If my watch complication worked better I’d give this app 5 stars. But I just can’t since the watch is what i use most. If it doesn’t get fixed soon I’ll have to switch to a different app.

### 5/5 — Easy to use

*2019-03-17, version 1.3.3*

I use it to plan my daily boat excursions. My dock is in fairly shallow water and I must plan to go out and be back before the tide is too low to get on my lift

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — No longer good

*2022-11-19, version 1.3.3*

There are many tide apps that were just as good, but this used to be my favorite tide app because it was accurate and added a widget that was easy to see from my Lock Screen or a swipe left from Home. It no longer provides times for the tides, only a wave showing the tide and a bar where you currently are in the cycle. I really wish they would come out with an update. I would be willing to pay for a stable version that was like what it used to be.

### 1/5 — Used to be a 5 stars

*2022-05-19, version 1.3.3*

This was a very useful and great app last year because it had all the essential data points. However since first of year all the data points disappeared left with only the graph. I would be happy to paid for the old version it was very useful.

### 1/5 — Upgraded my phone, all data now useless?

*2022-05-09, version 1.3.3*

Upgraded from my iPhone 8 to 13 pro. The app seems to work except there are known shown times, just curves and dates. How am I supposed to see when high/low tide is? Used to be one of my favorite apps and if you have a home button on your phone this is probably the best tide app. Hope they fix this.

### 1/5 — An excellent app fine bad

*2022-04-30, version 1.3.3*

This used to be an excellent app. It was easy to read each tide, the timing and height and was very reliable. I could look forward on dates as needed to plan trips to the beach. A while ago the times on each tide disappeared. I deleted the app and loaded it again and now am getting the oddest data. What was once an app I used daily is now completely useless.

### 1/5 — It used to be great

*2022-04-03, version 1.3.3*

This app used to show the exact time of high and low tide which made it very simple and useful. They recently took off the times and now it just shows a curved line which renders the app useless.

I have found other apps that are better. Look for Tide Chart. It still has the time displayed for high and low tides and thus makes that app more useful in planing your day and when to schedule your walks along the beach.

This app seems to have downgraded themselves to uselessness. Don’t bother with it.

### 1/5 — Abandoned and no longer working

*2022-03-16, version 1.3.3*

This app needs to be taken down.

It's been 6 years since it was updated. The developer is missing and the support site no longer exists. The time no longer displays, making it worthless.. It's a failure and it's confirmed on two different iPhones and 2 different iPads.

### 1/5 — Something broke

*2021-12-15, version 1.3.3*

I’ve been using this app for years, with good results. Recently it appears to have changed somehow. The data is way off for historical tide levels, personal observation, and government data.

Also the time of the tides doesn’t change as move to different points further inland. Some this definitely wrong

### 2/5 — Where’s the data the last two months?

*2022-02-02, version 1.3.3*

Haven’t been able to see any data since before Dec. reinstalled multiple times! The app I used to depend on for years isn’t working any longer

### 2/5 — Used to work

*2021-10-15, version 1.3.3*

Three days ago I would have given Ebb Tide 5 stars. It was my go to tide table app. Yesterday I lost the location and time function. I’ve updated, the reinstalled the app. I tried support and the server is down. It is totally useless now. I’m using an iPhone 5, so they may have stopped supporting, but they should say that.

### 3/5 — Useful Information No Longer Displayed

*2022-11-30, version 1.3.3*

I enjoyed the simplicity of this app but recently useful information such as location, time of day and height of tide have disappeared. Only the graph itself and the date remain. As the app has not been updated for years I can only assume the disappearance is due to a recent iOS update.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Time

*2022-06-06, version 1.3.3*

I really like the app, don’t know if I did something. Tried delete and reinstall but it still doesn’t show the tide time on my iPhone

### 5/5 — Ebb Tide

*2022-02-02, version 1.3.3*

I love this app but this year it is not as detailed as it has been in the past. I wish they would add back the time with the tide like they had it

### 5/5 — Simple and accurate

*2021-04-28, version 1.3.3*

Easy to understand graphic and numerical display. Accurate with regards to time and height.

### 5/5 — Simple and extremely . . .

*2021-03-26, version 1.3.3*

easy to see what's going on. An app that has no learning curve and works extremely well; I've used some others, but once I discovered this one, I never looked back!

### 5/5 — Novice

*2021-03-07, version 1.3.3*

Being relatively new to salt water I found this app to be extremely helpful. The whole tide thing was confusing and since I normally fished early mornings and late in the day I was frequently at odds with the best fishing.
Now it's the first thing I check to plan my next outing. I fish mostly costal rivers and streams and a strong falling tide has been the best for me. So just a simple 1 or 2 minute check gets me the information I need.

### 5/5 — Easy to use and very intuitive

*2021-01-05, version 1.3.3*

The interface on this app is wonderful. I downloaded a bunch of rude apps and this was exactly what I wanted. Very clear and easy to navigate, perfect!

### 5/5 — First sign of trouble

*2020-11-10, version 1.3.3*

This app has been performing perfectly since I installed it years ago, through many iOS and watchOS updates. Unfortunately, watchOS 7.1 seems to have broken it. I hope that the developer can quickly fix it.

### 5/5 — Works perfectly on my Apple Watch

*2020-08-26, version 1.3.3*

There’s a different app that doesn’t display the tide on my Apple Watch. This one does, it’s easy to use, would highly recommend it

### 5/5 — Tarpon120

*2020-06-14, version 1.3.3*

Very easy to use. Keeping it simple which I like without a lot of extra technical stuff to get in the way.

### 5/5 — Ebb tide

*2019-07-29, version 1.3.3*

I think the Ebb Tide app is great. Simple to use and I can see future tides whereas other tide apps only give a day or two.
It may not be accurate to the minute but then again you have high slack water and low slack water, close enough for me trailering my boat. Convenient 👍🏻👍
