Still I have to plough through sub headings, then sub sub headings etc just to list anything. Please streamline it and make it more user friendly if you are going to keep it alive ### 2/5 — Dire for a pro site *2022-11-10, version 1.20* Keeps asking me to upgrade to sell, despite having an email receipt for payment. Put something into the search bar and instead of taking you to items you will spend time going through prompts to narrow down the search. If you can’t provide listings for search request instantly I will go to other sites that can provide much better and faster search results. This isn’t it. The search function is an absolute joke - I had to click through seven, yes seven, subcategories to get items to even pop up, none of which were what I was originally looking for. You can’t just type in a general search i.e. “Garmin” and have results pop up. To be honest, I’m surprised that people even sell on this format. As a customer, i was so annoyed that I deleted this app less than five minutes after downloading it. ### 1/5 — Heaps of runtime errors *2024-01-28* Just download and try to run. A bunch of errors popping up. This site could be so good if the company gave a crap and put some effort in it. The seller fees are so cheap here they could give another auction site a run for it’s money. It’s sad eBid doesn’t want to be better and bigger ### 1/5 — Cannot even connect to the Internet *2022-05-07, version 1.20* Hard to write whether this app is any good or not because, despite trying it on two different devices, in neither case cannot manage to connect to the Internet even though Wi-Fi is connected and working well. ### 1/5 — Do not use eBid *2021-11-08, version 1.20* First of all, the app doesn’t even work on my iPhone 12. Won’t even start up. Nevertheless, eBid, the entire website, is a sham. I bought something a month ago and the sender keeps sending it to California. Wanna contact the website? Good luck. I have 4 emails, and every time I enter an email on the Contact Us page, it says “error with the email”. No matter if it’s iCloud, Yahoo, Gmail, or Hotmail. It’s ridiculous. Don’t go on this website. Even if Google recommends it when you’re searching for an item. Just don’t. Unreliable and no customer support. 0/5 ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work *2021-08-10, version 1.20* Doesn’t work on iPhone ### 1/5 — Too many bugs! *2021-07-07, version 1.20* First of all you cannot upload photos from your iPhone and you can only upload one at a time on a laptop or desktop and each photo takes at least 30 seconds also there’s no editing the photo other than cropping once it’s on the site.The bugs in it keep telling my iPhone that it has trouble connecting to the Internet your choices are “cancel or try again “ and no matter what you do it keeps giving you the same frozen screen. As in, you only have to give the correct portion to the site for hosting and can actually make a profit on every day priced items. You pay once and have five stores for life! The lower prices and word of mouth will bring buyers. I sell low cost items. I sell on the other site but I make a small margin because of the fees. I have sold two things on eBid so far and the difference was huge! between the cut they take there and the cut the big other site takes. The support team is quick to answer and resolve any issues immediately so don't hesitate to ask. Buying a lifetime membership is far less expensive than eBay which charges % for listing and takes a % for shipping on top of that eBay charges monthly for a store... I listed twice as much on eBid so far!! It has been almost a year and unfortunately no sales yet....hoping it will eventually pick up! ### 4/5 — Great for selling *2014-09-10, version 1.4* Like others, I'd love to see the eBay empire spectacularly fall off its overpriced and extortionate perch. I haven't bought anything off ebid so I don't know how it is for browsing. However the listing experience is as good as that offered by the eBay app, and makes it much easier to get on and list stuff than it ever was on the website. The former lack of an app caused me to give up on ebid, but now with this I will be listing a lot more. Hopefully other sellers will do the same.
