The app gets regular updates and is easy to use. My main gripe is that it’s 2026 and the app still doesn’t support dark mode or have a dark icon option. Sort it out please, Bosch! ### 3/5 — Route planner favours city roads *2026-08-12* I enjoy the security functions of the Flow app so far for my e-Bike but I have yet to find the trip planner helpful as it constantly sets up my routes along busy high-traffic roadways for many of the routes I plan. Your Bosch eBike Team ### 2/5 — Major bugs with unlocking *2026-08-07, version 1.36.6* I’ve been using the app for quite a while now, but it has severe issues with unlocking the bike which have to be addressed! I found myself with the bike locked in the rain and even with the app opened it did not want to unlock it! Please fix these bugs and make the flow work ### 4/5 — Simple and straight forward *2026-07-10* The app does all it needs to do, it’s pretty straightforward to use and import maps and such, the only thing It needs a landscape option for the other screens not just the ride mode, sometimes as well the app tracks my entire trip distance and calories but loses gps very early into the ride so the map just ends, for example I cycled a well known route a few days and it tracked 15 miles and the correct time and calories, but the map was not tracked 2.5miles of trail, signal isn’t a problem as I’ve used the trail many times without issue **Developer response:** Hello geordie8t1. Your Bosch eBike Team ### 3/5 — Gute App mit einigen Schwächen *2026-07-09* Also zunächst läuft die App stabil, verbindet sich schnell und sicher mit dem Rad. Das eine Update was ich bis jetzt mitgemacht habe konnte icvv ja noch nicht prüfen. Die integrierte Navigation funktioniert auch ganz gut und hat mich bis jetzt erst einmal sicher auf einer entspannten Route von Münster nach Hamm navigiert. Jetzt kommen wir erstmal zu den für mich echten Mankos der App. Neben der integrierten Navigation kann ich auf keine andere zurückgreifen, sprich Google Maps die ich sonst überall nutze funktioniert halt nicht mit der App bzw. entweder kann ich die App sehen oder Google Maps was zunächst echt nervig ist. Weiterhin muss ich immer zwischen Musik und App hin und her switchen wenn ich bei der Musik was ändern will, da wäre ein Mini Player vom Handy Mega. Ich kann den Bildschirm nicht anpassen🤷🏼‍♂️ dh. Ich muss mit den vorgefertigten Profilen fahren. Es ist mir ein Rätsel warum ich mir die Anzeige nicht individuell einstellen kann zB das ich zusätzlich die Trittfrequenz einblenden kann oder die Herzfrequenz. Zum Thema Herzfrequenz, warum arbeitet die App eigentlich nicht mit der Polar App zusammen das ich auf die Daten meines Pulsgurtes zugreifen kann🤔. Also alles in allem läuft die App recht stabil aber da gibt’s noch einiges was eine Nutzung deutlich komfortabler machen würde. Kann natürlich sein das ich nur noch nicht die Einstellungen dafür gefunden habe aber das würde dann auch die Benutzer- Un-Freundlichkeit bestätigen. **Developer response:** Hallo Ananas123456. An Polar Herzfrequenzgurten kannst du den Polar H9 oder H 10 verwenden, beide sind kompatibel und es wird dann die Herzfrequenz entsprechend in Display und/oder App angezeigt. If they are track it is to sell your personal data which is not good. ### 4/5 — Excellent Features – Please Add 100Nm/120Nm Options *2026-06-20* I’ve been using the Bosch Flow app for about a week and a half now, and overall I’m really impressed. The app seems to have a lot of useful features and it’s been easy to get started with. I haven’t used the navigation feature yet, but I’m planning to soon. I have to admit I’m a little concerned after reading some of the reviews mentioning navigation issues, but I’ll make my own judgement when I’ve had the chance to test it properly. One feature I’ve absolutely loved is eBike Lock. Up until today it’s been incredibly quick and seamless to unlock my bike, making the whole experience feel very modern and secure. Today it seemed to take a little longer than usual to connect, but it’s still a fantastic feature and one that gives me real peace of mind, so thank you for including it. My biggest piece of feedback is regarding motor performance. Please consider giving Gen 4 motor owners the option to unlock higher torque levels, such as 100Nm or even 120Nm. Make it an advanced setting with clear warnings and allow riders to use it at their own risk if necessary. Many of us bought powerful e-bikes because we enjoy the performance, and it would be great to have the choice rather than having power held back. Riders who don’t want the extra torque can simply leave the default settings unchanged. If Bosch introduced an optional higher-torque mode for Gen 4 motors, this app would be very close to perfect for me. Please please please add remaining battery % to the Apple Watch. Really, please. Just the remaining battery. Just that tiny feature would change everything. Got a response from bosh: “We are committed to make it even better” I’m holding on to hope. 🤞 ### 2/5 — Failing App *2026-06-10* This app continues to be poorly managed. It is no longer syncing rides, tries to tell you how to ride and shift (which if you didn’t know) is not what you need in your life. This app interferes with other apps and cellular reception. It most certainly does not work well with any garmin device and should not be trying to function with it. Let me give you some strong advice…. My child is late for school because these developers cannot figure out how to connect a goddamn Bluetooth app. They should be ashamed and fired and this f’in bike should be in the junk heap. ### 1/5 — Left me stranded *2026-05-31, version 1.35.5* App forced a move to Singlekey-ID but Bosch was incapable of sending me the verification code via e-mail. No way to simply log in with login and password. Leaving me stranded with a locked bike. My e-mail is working fine as I received the confirmation code of my customer service request. ### 1/5 — Not connecting since Apple update 26.5 *2026-05-26, version 1.35.5* The app connects with the bike for 5 seconds and then drops out. ### 1/5 — Illegible privacy policy *2026-05-24* The privacy policy cannot be, in its entirety, read on an iPhone 13 mini. The text is wider than the display; cannot be reoriented to landscape reading; cannot be pinched smaller to better fill the display as it is truncated; there is no way read the policy directly. Even with background app refresh off and location access set to “while using” it still uses location and 7% of battery overnight. The only solution is to force close after each use or uninstall. ### 1/5 — Not working *2026-08-02, version 1.36.6* It worked fine for years, now it’s decided not to track rides anymore. Nothing lasts… ### 1/5 — After 10 years this is the best you can do?? *2026-08-01, version 1.36.6* I’ve had a Haibike with a Bosch engine since 2016. The e-bike connect app was ok but not great. I was excited to get my new Moustache Xroad6 in 2026 with the new Bosch engine and it is a big improvement but the app if anything has gone backwards. The layout is appalling, the route planning is much worse. I used to complain it didn’t sort my favourite destinations in any order never mind alphabetically now you just can’t add favourite destinations! I suppose they have cornered the market so they don’t need to worrry about keeping customers happy. 🤷🏻‍♂️ ### 1/5 — Problème de connexion *2026-07-27* Bonjour, ça fait déjà plus d’un mois que je n’arrive plus à me connecter. J’ai apporté le vélo au magasin dépositaire et personne ne trouve de solution. C’est comme ça que je réalise que si l’appli ne fonctionne pas, je suis obligé d’aller au magasin pour faire un rebout, reset, mais le vélo ne fonctionne pas ni l’assistance. Bref mon vélo cargo ne fonctionne plus à cause d’un update d’application. Autre chose, je paye annuellement une app qui ne fait pas plus qu’un app gratuit, mais le vélo, je l’ai bien payé. L’application devrait être gratuite avec option de payer pour des fonctionnalités de plus. Je vous écris et je ne peux toujours pas utiliser mon vélo. It doesn’t have Find My support The app doesn’t support battery health management like schedules or charging limits . So every time you charge , the battery degrades . Bluetooth is unreliable . It doesn’t work while charging , or while the bike is off . So if you are upstairs you are SOL And the app doesn’t report issues. Even minor issues have to be checked by a dealer which takes a long time , a car and a lot of money. ### 1/5 — Navigating route goes through a reroute WHY and need to reload map *2026-07-24, version 1.36.6* I have been using navigation on my smart system since 2022. The software and navigation is pretty good. However on the latest updates I now realised if I go off route AND the e-bike turns off, when I restart the e-bike my navigation is lost. I then have to connect to the mobile data to download the map AGAIN and now the system tries to re-route my navigation! This is a great concern if you cannot get reliable mobile data AND I DO NO NEED ANY REROUTING. Should be a selection to follow original route WITH turn instructions etc without loosing the map when the e-bike turns off and on…. Just like the previous version. Can this option be provided? Or tell me how to avoid the option of reloading maps and get turn info with it when the bike is turned off/on.Thank you. ### 1/5 — App update has effectively bricked my E bike *2026-07-23, version 1.36.6* On 23rd of July 2026, after not using my bike nor updating the app for a few days, I find that I now need to log into the eBike Flow app again before my bike will unlock. However, my single key-id password which I know to be correct is not working. To compound the issue, the forgot my password function is also not working. My e-bike remains locked and effectively bricked until ID issues can be sorted out. super unimpressed Bosch !!!!!! Cela rappelle d’aller immédiatement recharger la batterie pour le prochain trajet. ⚡️Ajout d’une option pour allumer automatiquement le VAE dès que la batterie est insérée sur le vélo (gain de temps) 🕰️ Sur l’afficheur Purion 200, affichez l’heure actuelle sur tous les écrans, par exemple en haut au milieu (indispensable pour ne pas devoir changer d’écran pour lire l’heure) 🔐Offrir la possibilité de déverrouiller le vélo par code PIN de 6 chiffres sur la commande Purion 200 (sélection de chiffres de 0 à 9 en utilisant les boutons ↑ ↓ , validation par appui sur → ←). Utile lorsqu’on n’a plus de batterie sur le téléphone ou qu’il n’est pas à portée de mains. 💶 J’aimerais que l’abonnement Flow+ soit plus utile pour le prix (près de 60€ par an). La géolocalisation du Connect module reste assez limitée (pas de suivi de trajet sans le smartphone alors que le Connect module intègre un GPS), et l’alarme de vol ne sonne pas si la batterie est enlevée donc pas dissuasif.
