The latest update changed the ability to delete entire days of recordings all at once. Instead now I’m having to select each time slot of the day to delete selected videos and some times only one at a time. This now requires so much time from me to clear up storage. ### 4/5 — Great! But *2025-11-09* I got an EBO X for me and my GF (me in Korea and my GF in Belgium) only to discover that if your account isn’t based in the same country, you cannot link a friend to a robot in another country, easy work around is to create both accounts for the same country, (we made ours both American) then it worked! I do wish there was a notification feature that lets me know when someone uses the EBO, like on the ROLA app, great products, great app that needs some work. ### 2/5 — Go with Astro *2025-04-14* I am not sure if I am happy with the pricey purchase. It is cute and does not do what I was thinking. I will continue to work with the robot and see what happens. At the moment it is limited operations. I was able to get to connect upon setup but it constantly fails to connect on subsequent use. But once I made sure my phone was connected to wifi…trying to type verification instead of copy and paste and realizing I had to keep tapping in the right area until it went to the password page, next button was a little wonky…it came together and is working perfectly :) **Developer response:** Thank you very much for your suggestions for Enabot. I tried multiple devices and it’s still idle. I don’t recommend it at all. All the videos on TikTok are scam ### 1/5 — Won’t connect *2026-04-02* I have tried several troubleshooting attempts to pair the ebo to several devices and although it did pair at one point, the second attempt to use it automatically put it in pair mode. All the videos on TikTok are scam ### 1/5 — Horrible ux *2025-10-04* No onboarding, robot barely works, friend management feature is useless and you can’t share accounts with people outside your home region Overall very poorly thought out ### 1/5 — Very poor performance *2025-08-08, version 2.0.9* The remote always lags and defeats the purpose of having the robot. You can't reliably control it, like when I'm out sometimes the remote will stop working and I use the robot to check on my dogs which is not possible when the robot stops working. Sometimes even if the robot is charged the remote will say 0%. Things like the microphone or audio won't work, you can't move the robot unless you try and disconnect and reconnect it which is pointless since the whole point of using it is for when you can't physically be there. My sister also uses the remote and in the few months I've had this, she's only managed to work it a handful of times. There's no support or direction when the remote stops working, no amount of app upgrades have managed to resolve this issue. You're better off buying a different robot where the remote actually works than bothering with this. It's mediocre at best and a waste of your money. ### 1/5 — Stupid app i can’t get into *2025-07-30, version 2.0.9* I can’t even get past the account registration page. Verification code sending failure. iPad 9th Generation IOS 18.5 ### 1/5 — First impressions are poor *2025-07-15, version 2.0.8* I’ve been using this for a couple hours and it’s been quite poor. Originally got this to use with a friend that I have long distance to bridge the gap and they haven’t been able to get past even the registration phase because it won’t send them a code to either email or phone. I’ve had no problems with my partner that I live with or myself. I find that the driving mechanisms are difficult and jolty, alongside not very useful unless you have completely flat ground. So far not impressed ### 1/5 — Have to be home *2025-05-22* Im outside the United States for work. I’ll be gone for 3 months. I thought it would be fun to use the EBO while I’m away. Unfortunately I have to wait for months until I get to actually use it. What is the point of having a remote robot if family members set it up at home and I can’t control it while I’m away. I have noticed some connection drops when I move between mesh nodes, but generally it works well. Two things that would make this app better would be Bluetooth controller support (ps4 and Xbox preferably) and a dedicated iPad app. The iPhone version works on iPad, but an optimized iPad app would be more intuitive. The robot is a great tool to have in my home and I’m glad I purchased one. I don’t often leave reviews, but this one feels important to share. I am a real user, a father currently far from my wife and newborn, and this little robot has helped ease a very real ache… the ache of missing the early days of my newborn child’s life while I’m away. The EBO Air 2 and its companion app have given me more than just a way to stay in touch. It’s given me presence. Not just scheduled video calls, but the ability to quietly enter the room, to watch my child wiggle, breathe, grow. Moments like those don’t come back. And because of the robot and this app, I don’t have to miss all of them. The app itself is thoughtfully designed and easy to use. The team behind it listens, improves, and genuinely seems to care. Their support staff has gone above and beyond whenever I’ve reached out, not just answering questions, but offering meaningful help.
