Proquest should return to the use of Adobe Digital Editions until a much better app has been developed. ### 1/5 — No books on book shelf *2026-08-08, version 2.05.04 (26050402)* Please design an app that works ### 1/5 — Not user friendly *2026-08-07, version 2.05.04 (26050402)* Page numbers start on cover. Cannot increase the size of font ( selected button but it would not load); cannot browse contents (again selected button but it would not load); cannot highlight text. Not good for students or academics alike. I think you can bookmark a page, but that’s about it. There’s no highlighting, no option for notes and no dictionary linked for looking up words. There is no comfortable option for reading at night, just a glaring super bright screen that hurts your eyes. But the worst thing is the navigation. It is quite unbelievably bad. Every time you take a break from reading, the book gets closed and you have to page through one page at a time to find where you were. You can’t even scroll, you have to tap, and there is no slider at the bottom to move through quickly. So time consuming and clunky. To get from one chapter to the next you have to go back to the contents page!
