Everyone involved in the creation and design of this app should reevaluate their life choices. I have over 800 dollars worth of texts in this app - not by choice, they were assigned via various schools and training programs - and I can't access a single one. I've reinstalled the app. I've re-downloaded the books. I am stuck at a splash screen that says "X book is ready" but nothing happens when I hit the "start reading" button. Last time this app was updated was 3 years ago, so I doubt any of these issues will be fixed. But if your school gives up a link to an inkling download, please do anything to trade it for something that's actually usable. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work well *2024-04-05, version 6.4.0* The app never worked well. The only reason I have been using it is for one ebook, I got as the digital copy of a one of my textbooks I use in my field. However the app decided to stop loading the ebook pages now all together. I cannot access anything in the book. I now have to reorder the ebook at full cost $75, because this app is soo poorly put together and managed even worse. Unfortunately, it got worse and worse to the point where I cannot use it at all now. In addition to the many faulty issues that other reviewers pointed out here, now, l cannot even open any e-book I bought and downloaded in my book library! It just says loading when I open any title with empty white page. I deleted the app and reinstalled it but no change. I am very disappointed with this and stopped buying from the store anymore. Now I'm forced to use other apps to buy and download medical books and what's really upsetting is that I cannot read my already purchased books in this app anymore, and they're not cheap books. I was really hoping this app be as professional and efficient as it should be, but unfortunately it drifted away from that path. Apparently this is an Elsevier issue where they changed platforms. Maybe all the poor reviewers should check with their publishers. THAT may be a solution for you as well. Support responded to my email request FAST!!! Led me to an instant solution. Kudos for the reply. ### 5/5 — Too basic *2019-04-26* Can’t change font size. Can’t optimize anything. Can’t delete titles I accidentally dowloaded as trials. Despite that I have bought over 1500$ worth books, even free apps provide all these small configurations. Very disappointed with such a multi-million dollar to not spend few bucks on small changes that could improve user experience. I consider it essential for all physicians! I can study easily and highlight everything I want like in a real book.
