Unfortunately, I discovered that it cannot perform a variety of basic functions such as evaluating negative exponents. That is unacceptable. I wrote to the developer to ask if they use a custom method of entering expressions because I get so many errors. That was about a month ago and I never got a response. ### 3/5 — Please fix this crash bug *2026-07-18* When I get over 1e150 (around), the app crashes! For further context, the app shows a black screen for around 1 second then crashes. Ty for reading ### 4/5 — Excellent in every way but one… *2024-04-11* ….conversion of data units. The app adheres to the popular, incorrect assumption of 1TB = 1,000GB instead of the scientifically accurate fact of 1TB = 1,024GB. I understand why it was done like this but in the real world of IT the latter is needed. Any chance of adding the correct data units, please? In all other ways this app is excellent. **Developer response:** UPDATE 1: As we check about Byte conversion information, there are two different types of Multiple-byte units: - Decimal (based on power of 10), which 1TB = 1,000GB. - Binary (based on power of 2), which 1TB = 1,024GB. ORIGINAL: Thanks for your feedback, we will check on that. ### 5/5 — hey, may you please add an x^y on a programmer calculator? *2026-07-11* no x^y, and add an extra large scientific widget with x^2, x^y, !, sqrt, sin, cos, tan, M+, M-, & MRC where ! is factorial ### 5/5 — Toxic works with this *2025-02-25* So any wizards looking for a calculator to do the Toxic trick, this one works. Once downloaded, go into settings and simply click the “Calculation Equation” toggle, and it hides the formulas on the main display panel. It’s best on iPhones as its screen size is formatted for that. However it will also work on an iPad, at a zoomed in screen. Meaning there are black bars at the sides, but nothing noticeable. However the owner has also made an iPad version called “Calculator - Pad Edition”. Overall, very happy. I’ll let other magicians know about your app. ### 5/5 — Excellent calculator at a good price *2024-12-06* I’m an engineer with an MBA. Numbers are a big part of my life. Consequently, I have a fascination with calculators (and I have lots of them). I use different calculators for different purposes. This is one of the best general purpose calculators I’ve found. It has all the features I use on a daily basis. I do unit conversions almost every day. This calculator has a nice unit converter that is easy to use. I also do a lot of calculations using fractions. I probably have at least ten calculators that do calculations with fractions. This one is one of the best I’ve found. The thing that makes this calculator a clear Five-star app, heads above the competition, is that in addition to being an excellent calculator, it is reasonably priced! There are way too many calculator apps that are insanely over-priced. I did not hesitate to pay for the ad-free version of the app. Everyone deserves to be paid for their work, but some developers have a completely unrealistic opinion of their worth. I hope the developer of this app makes boatloads of money by selling lots of copies of this excellent calculator for a very reasonable one-time price. If you want a good calculator with lots of nice features, this is it. If you don’t mind the small advertisements at the bottom of the screen, use it for free. If you want to support the developer and eliminate the advertisements, pay for the ad-free version. Either way, get this calculator. I found this for my iPad first (since iPads do not have a calculator app for some reason). I highly recommend this app for iPads too.
