Logged into my pharmacy and no luck. Went to the pharmacy and got the code. Came home and tried it with the code. No luck. So yes, it needs work ### 2/5 — No auto refill *2024-12-05, version 26.0.1* Most other pharmacies offer auto refills, this is a key missing feature. ### 3/5 — Much better - update fixed *2023-10-05, version 23.3.2* If you downloaded this app a while ago and got frustrated, give it another try. The new version of the app fixed most of the complaints I had about the app, the UI is much easier, the refill system is all in one place, the app now updates you on refill progress (so you can know when they are ready), suggests which prescriptions you might need refills on to save you trips, allows vaccination booking right in the app, and has a built in drug compendium. Greatly improved, honestly, give it another try. The biggest issue is that it does not remind clients when medication is running out. It tells clients to pick up medications on holidays when their stores are closed. Notes written do not get sent to pharmacy. Phone number has no format prompt for the 13 ways you can enter a phone number. It appears that it was thrown together in a rush and hasn't been updated since. Compare with shoppers app ### 1/5 — This app is awful *2022-10-04, version 6.2.1* After several attempts to set this up and a couple trips to the pharmacy, I was finally able to just delete everything and carry on with my life. It’s easier to just call in. ### 2/5 — Needs work *2022-07-27, version 6.2.1* I'm surprised that Pharmasave doesn't have a better online service. This app feels very rudimentary, there's no confirmation of Rx refills by text or online. Perhaps because all the stores operate independently there's not much support for this kind of infrastructure. It looks like Shoppers Drug Mart does a better job of this. ### 1/5 — Pharmacy can’t read the uploaded prescription *2022-05-28, version 6.2.1* The app needs to be fixed. It has been many times that the pharmacist cannot read the text because it’s blurry or dark shadows from the photo. Somehow it’s black and white when pharmacist print it out and very hard to read. The app should convert it to black and white and remove shadows automatically. ### 1/5 — Only one good thing *2021-05-07, version 6.2.1* The only good thing about this App is I can request my prescription refill when the pharmacy is closed. I have to log in each time & enter all of my info each time. What is the point? It allows me to log in and then it hangs. I love my Pharmasave in Stouffville but I'm not impressed with the app! ### 1/5 — Useless app *2025-05-28, version 28.0.1* Our Pharmasave is located in a remote Northern town. The hours are unreliable, their server is always down, it takes days or weeks to get a prescription, and often they are out of stock. I downloaded this app hoping to help alleviate their wait times and lineups. App keeps crashing, doesn’t recognize my common prescription, and keeps telling me the server is off line. Laughably awful. Except access to medication is essential. So this is no joke. Today I logged in only to find that none of my prescriptions are there! There is no in-app help, which makes matters worse. Very frustrating to try and set up, and then doesn’t work. ### 1/5 — DOES NOT WORK, AT ALL, AVOID *2024-07-19, version 25.0.1* I can’t actually tell you how many times I tried to register this app with pharmasave so it will work and still cannot get it working. Even the pharmacist said just avoid it. But yet they are promoting it again and it still does not work. Waste of time and effort. They may be promoting it again but it’s the same app as years ago that did not work then and still does not work. If you want an app for your medications I strongly recommend trying another pharmacy because this app is A LOST CAUSE! Another issue is it won’t allow your iPhone or ipad to remember your user name and password, a real pain. Why can’t they get this to function properly, other pharmacy’s are able to make theirs work, why can’t Pharmasave? And why keep trying to get people to use it when they know full well it’s hopeless! Read all the reviews, not good. ### 1/5 — Not user friendly *2024-01-24, version 24.0.1* So more often then not it tells me that there is a network error, or I need to change the password because it has difficulty logging me in or, the best one, the pharmacy never receives my request for the refill. Kinda thinking to change pharmacies if this is the program/app/developers they are using?!?! ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work *2023-12-30, version 24.0.1* I have tried downloading this app three times, and my pharmacist tried. Maybe they used an older version. I can see all my past and active prescriptions, refill them, add new ones by taking a picture of the Rx from the doctor, and get notified. I find very useful. ### 4/5 — Good, but no way to know when the prescription is ready *2024-12-02, version 26.0.1* I find this app super-useful for tracking prescription histories, and have used it several times to call in a refill. The one issue is the ambiguous status “in progress”. Recently I requested a prescription refill via the app several days in advance of the pickup date, and the “in progress” status was still in showing after that date and time had passed. I went in and queried it, and an assistant found that it was ready. When I asked how I can know in future whether it’s filled and waiting for me, he said, “Give us a phone call…” Surely the point of the app is to spare both the pharmacy and customer these extra steps? Then again, I’ve never seen a “ready for pickup” status so perhaps that’s the issue. ### 4/5 — Feature Requeat *2024-01-14, version 24.0.1* Would you consider adding a feature to allow us to save the Rewards card to the Apple Wallet? ### 4/5 — Could be better *2022-04-24, version 6.2.1* I have my password saved so no issues with password, I like the convenience of using it 24/7 not having to wait on the phone is a very big plus , not having to pronounce the drug name is a plus .
