### 3/5 — Not for normal public- for medical personnel only

*2021-11-19, version 6.1*

I wanted to interpret my ECG so I bought this app. It wasn’t saying anything about uploading ECG and interpreting it. So I got confused. After I bought it’s just like medical booklet for ECG which normal people won’t understand at all. So app is not bad but they need to clearly say about what exactly its for and it’s not for normal people.

### 3/5 — Needs diagram and video

*2019-04-27*

It's a nice app with lots of written info but very less well illustrated diagram to understand. This app needs some well labelled and illustrated visual representation of the ecg, so that's it's easy to understand. Addition of video would be even better. So I suggest the developers to add illustrated diagrams and videos of ecg including samples.

### 4/5 — App not updated for latest iPhone models.

*2017-05-15, version 5.0*

App itself is great with excellent content & examples.

The only significant drawback is that the app is still not updated to the latest iPhone models which has bigger screen size.

### 3/5 — Needs an update

*2017-04-04, version 5.0*

Good app but it needs to be updated to 64 bit otherwise it will no longer function in iOS 11.

### 2/5 — Why is "Registration" required ?

*2015-10-03, version 5.0*

I purchased this App as a learning tool, to understand my own ECG ... I can select "Not Disclosed" for 'Profession' and 'Location' but cannot proceed without giving an eMail address.
WHY ???

### 4/5 — Fantastic app!

*2015-03-25, version 5.0*

This app has everything you would ever need to know about ECGs. As a paramedic student, I found the information very well laid out and explained, and the number of examples was incredibly large. The quiz is also very helpful. The only negative thing about this app is that it isn't supported on iPads. If this was fixed, it would be the best app I'd ever bought.

### 2/5 — Content is fantastic; UI looks comically large/blurry

*2014-10-27, version 5.0*

The app UI looks blown-up and fuzzy/blurry. Apparently they're taking the low resolution UI built for the iPhone 5/5S and just scaling it up to the iPhone 6 screen. Looks terrible. The app ought to be displayed at native resolution.

But the content is absolutely fantastic. The best EKG app out there, and I've downloaded nearly all of them.

### 2/5 — Update please

*2013-01-22, version 4.4*

I think it's been a while it was last updated and although it's a good app, it needs to evolve.
I would welcome red dot next to the abnormality on the ecg.
Another would be iPhone 5 optimisation.

### 3/5 — Cool but...

*2012-11-07, version 4.4*

When I open the analyzer and tap "initialize" it sudden closes the app

### 4/5 — Ok.

*2012-04-17, version 4.4*

Needs updating tho

### 4/5 — Student

*2012-02-13, version 4.4*

Good app but it would be nice if you could customize the quizzes. I'm just starting out in learning ECG's and many of those you are quizzed on are far too advanced for students such as myself who are trying to interpret the basics.

### 5/5 — Buenísimo muy recomendable

*2011-09-20, version 4.4*

Muy completo y sencillo

### 4/5 — ECG

*2011-09-04, version 4.4*

Seems fine.

### 4/5 — Good for reference

*2011-06-29, version 4.4*

App hits quick and easy to read reference material. Covers basics, but is not designed for first-time EKG learners. Have found highly useful for reminders when reading real ekgs.

### 2/5 — ECG Guide

*2011-05-10, version 4.4*

I was disappointed in this application. It starts out explaining the basics as I was trained in medical school but once past the 2nd page the writer goes into details that have nothing to do with "basics". ECG reading is not really difficult but there are a lot of steps, if the writer had stayed with the basic steps and once explained then go into the more complex waves it would have been a good solid application. Could be used as a reference, if you have time to go digging around for what your looking for.
Postitives: Never crashed (can be an accoplishment in itself).
Negatives: Disorganized, tangential.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Kindly update the app for full screen. It looks ugly

*2021-07-25*

Update the app to support full screen. It looks ugly

### 1/5 — Please Update

*2018-06-09, version 6.0*

As a Physician Assistant I find it offensive PA is not one of the professional options listed when signing up for the app. I interpret EKG’s daily... I really wanted to try this app, but instead will be deleting it.

### 1/5 — Forces you to give your email

*2016-11-28, version 5.0*

This app looks good, but forces you to give your email AFTER purchase. Not good.

### 1/5 — Good but must re-buy just to use on iPad??

*2012-08-29, version 4.4*

Useful program, but totally unreasonable to ask for another $8 just so you can use it effectively on the iPad as well. I would expect my apps to sync between devices. I'm not interested in paying for the same thing twice.

### 1/5 — Lots of grammar mistakes

*2011-04-21, version 4.4*

The bad English makes me concerned that the ECG interpretation information is also full of errors.

### 1/5 — ecg analyzer - a load of .....

*2011-03-13, version 4.4*

the actual app is ok but the ecg analyzer is a complete rip off. it is a waste of money. whatever you do don't buy it. it doesn't analyze the ecg. it asks a series of questions like what is the heart rate, are there p waves etc. if you have any basic knowledge about ecgs this will not help at all. it will not help for any slightly tricky ecg. money back please

### 1/5 — Bug

*2010-09-01, version 0*

Bug bug et rebug...

### 1/5 — I'd like to but

*2010-06-21, version 0*

I'd like to give this app more than 1 star but it keeps crashing at start up so all I can say is nice title screen

### 1/5 — Garbage

*2010-06-09, version 0*

Strips barely readable----pure garbage

### 1/5 — RIP OFF... Wait for $0.99 Sale !!!

*2010-03-19, version 0*

I bought this app for $5.99, it advertised for 30% off. The very next day it was on sale for $0.99!!! What a rip off. DO NOT PAY MORE THAN $0.99 FOR THIS APP. Else you will be throwing your money away!

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Good reference app

*2026-02-13, version 6.1*

This is an excellent ECG reference. It won’t teach you how to read an ECG - that’s not the purpose. It IS a great reference for criteria you might not use every day such as voltage criteria for LVH. Ignore the low ratings - they all appear to be people who misunderstood the purpose of the app and are annoyed at their mistake, not users with functional concerns.

### 5/5 — A cardiology resident’s best friend

*2021-11-14, version 6.1*

I am a Med/Peds rural ER provider. This has helped me over the years. Thorough and accurate! Plus it has a quiz function to test your knowledge.

### 5/5 — Excellent resource

*2019-02-08, version 6.1*

I’m an acute care NP working in a cardiology practice for twenty years. ECG interpretation is something I do multiple times each day. I like to have reference resources and I think I’ve tried most all of those available from the App Store. ECG Guide remains my go to for its accuracy and clarity.

### 5/5 — Fantastic

*2018-02-28, version 6.0*

Best ecg app I’ve used so far. It’s excellent for every level of care provider that is responsible for 12-lead interpretations.

### 5/5 — ECg interpretation

*2015-01-13, version 5.0*

Good app for detailed understanding of ECG for beginners.

### 5/5 — Great ecg tool

*2014-10-14, version 5.0*

Can you make the text highlightable please?

### 5/5 — Muy util

*2012-11-12, version 4.4*

Ideal para comenzar a estudiar electrocardiografia e incluso consultar y Revisar trazados. Si se pudieran ver los trazados en una Tv mediante Air play se podría utiliza como herramienta docente para sesiones practicas en grupo. Wonderful app Dr. Andrade!.

### 5/5 — Nice and concise!

*2011-11-24, version 4.4*

For those that rated it poor- if u were expecting it to be a text book- u should buy one. This app is excellent in review for both for the seasoned and new nurses. It has an interactive view and quizzes. Good job! I have been a nurse for 18 yrs. now specializing in pediatric CVICU.

### 5/5 — Perfect Resourse

*2011-10-28, version 4.4*

Easy to follow. Great resourse for reminders on daily ECG reading!

### 5/5 — Best medical app I've got

*2011-10-09, version 4.4*

I'm a paramedic and there is a lot of so called 'useful apps' out there. Don't be fooled, the majority are not useful at all. However this is probably right up there as the most useful app I can use at work.
