## What is ECHO?

"Find Resonance in Your Solitary Exploration."

Psychotherapy is often a solitary expedition. While human supervision is irreplaceable, an objective, rational reflection right after a session is invaluable. ECHO is not a replacement for your clinical supervisor; it is an objective AI mirror designed specifically for licensed psychotherapists, counselors, and social workers.

By utilizing evidence-based supervision frameworks, ECHO analyzes your session records to help you identify blind spots, analyze relationship dynamics, and manage countertransference.

[ CORE FEATURES ]

Evidence-Based Reflections: Get multi-dimensional feedback on therapeutic techniques, working alliance, and ethical boundaries.
Transference & Countertransference: AI helps capture subtle emotional cues to assist in your self-awareness and professional growth.
Deep E2E Privacy (Zero-Knowledge Architecture): Confidentiality is your baseline, and ours too. Your session notes are strictly E2E encrypted (AES-256) and synced ONLY via your personal Apple iCloud. We utilize a Zero-Knowledge Architecture, meaning Apple and ECHO developers cannot access, read, or store your case data.
Apple Ecosystem Sync: Seamlessly and securely sync your records and reports across your iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
PDF Export: Generate clean, structured supervision companion reports to discuss later in your peer or individual supervision.
ECHO is a tool strictly for mental health professionals to aid in case conceptualization and self-reflection.

Disclaimer: ECHO is not intended for patient use. It is not a medical device and does not provide clinical mental health diagnoses or treatment to the public.

## Version history (last 3 releases)

### 1.0.2 — 2026-04-30

1.0.1 had a bug: after upgrading, your license got bumped off this device, and reactivating said "already bound to another device." That's on us, not you.
1.0.2 fixes it. If you got caught by this, open the app and there'll be a Restore prompt. One tap and you're back in.

### 1.0.1 — 2026-04-30

Therapists in Hong Kong and Taiwan kept telling us the same thing: "来访者" isn't what you'd call your client — it's 個案. 1.0.1 adds Traditional Chinese with vocabulary checked against how clinicians actually talk in HK and TW: 個案, 點數, 授權碼. Switch in Settings. No restart.

There was a bug we're not proud of. When StoreKit was briefly down, tapping buy did nothing — no spinner, no error, just silence. It now tells you what happened. If you bought credits on another device and they're not showing here, the activation screen has a Restore Purchases button.
