## What is Echo Net+?

Echo Net moves files and text between your devices over your local network. No cloud, no accounts, no cables and no size limits. 
Your data never leaves your network.

Open Echo Net on two devices connected to the same Wi-Fi and they find each other in seconds. 
Tap a device, pick photos or files, and they arrive at full network speed. Send a snippet of text and it lands right in the clipboard of the other device, ready to paste.

FEATURES
Instant discovery: devices on your network appear automatically, no setup and no pairing codes.
Any files: photos, videos, documents, archives. Multiple files at once, no size limits.
Text and clipboard: send a link or a note, it is copied on the receiving device instantly.
Trusted devices: approve your own devices once and every next transfer is accepted automatically.
Encrypted: every transfer is protected with TLS, device keys are verified on each connection.
Private by design: no servers, no accounts, no analytics, no tracking. Everything stays in your network.
Works across platforms: iPhone, iPad, Mac and Windows. The Windows app is available on our website.
Two languages: English and Russian, switchable in Settings.

Echo Net needs local network access to discover your devices. 
Transfers work only between devices connected to the same network.

1. File shelf on the main screen: press and fling a file — up, right, or left — to instantly send it to your favorite devices.
2. Share Extension: send files and photos to Echo Net+ straight from other apps.
3. Files from favorite and trusted devices are accepted automatically.
4. Fling at an offline device — the file will be delivered as soon as it comes online.
5. In-app banners, haptic feedback, refreshed interface, Linux device support.
6. The screen stays awake during transfers. More reliable connections.

### 1.1 — 2026-08-06

A big chat update:
- Photo previews right in messages and a gallery with zoom, swiping and saving to Photos
- Message reactions
- Forward messages and files to other conversations
- Send multiple photos at once with a sending status on every message
- Large emoji when a message is just emoji
- The app no longer takes extra space in your iCloud backup
- Improved transfer speed and stability
