## What is Echo?

ECHO is a head-to-head game of nerve and prediction. There are no turns. Each round, you and your opponent secretly choose one square — then both strikes land at the exact same moment. You never see their move first. You read them.

That single twist changes everything. The strongest square on the board is also the one your rival is most tempted by. Both lunge for it and it shatters — gone for good, for both of you. So every choice is a quiet duel: take the prize and risk the clash, or take the safe square and let them overreach.

HOW IT PLAYS
- Strike an empty square and claim it.
- Strike beside your own territory and it echoes — stealing a neighboring enemy square. One move, two squares. This is how you pull ahead.
- Strike the same square as your rival and it shatters into dead ground forever.
- Strike enemy land to crack it; crack it twice and it goes neutral.

Hold the most ground when the grid fills. Matches run about 90 seconds — easy to start, hard to put down.
