## What is EchoArchive?

Copying a quote from a podcast is easy. The attribution is annoying.

EchoArchive saves quotes from podcast transcripts and reformats them into a clean, fully attributed text block you can paste anywhere including the passage, who said it, the show, the episode, the date, and a link back to the source.

THE PODCAST PROBLEM

You're listening, someone says something worth sharing, and now the work starts. Type out the quote and the podcast name. Hunt down the episode title. Get the date, because you know you'll want to find this again. Track down the URL, because whoever you send it to is going to want to hear the whole thing.

By the time you've done all that, the moment's gone. That's the problem EchoArchive solves.

ONE PASTE FILLS IN THE REST

Copy a passage from a podcast transcript, tap Paste in EchoArchive, and the podcast name, episode title, date, and link land in place automatically. Trim the excerpt to the part you want and type in who said it.

If a paste comes through in a shape the app doesn't recognize, nothing is lost. The whole thing goes into the quote field, and you fill in the details yourself.

AFTER THAT, IT'S ONE TAP

Tap any quote in your library and the entire formatted block is on your clipboard: the passage, the speaker, the show, the episode, the date, and the link.

ECHOARCHIVE REMEMBERS WHO SAID WHAT

Type a speaker's name once and it's offered back the next time you save a quote from that show. Start typing and it finishes the name for you. A guest who turns up on three different shows is a few taps to sort out.

ONE ARCHIVE PER PROJECT

Quotes for a book you're working on don't need to sit next to quotes for next week's newsletter. Archives keep separate collections of quotes for separate projects — one per book, per client, per series, however your work actually divides up. Switch between them with a tap, and the list, the search, and the export all follow you.
