Please get it back - then I‘d gladly give you 5 stars! ### 3/5 — MD2022b *2022-03-31, version 3.31* Like others have mentioned before me, the removal of the calculator function has dramatically reduced the utility of this ap. I would have rated it 5/5 before the update. Tried to update to new app and it stays locked in the downloading page. I have lost the app for good now. Simple, quick access to relevant data. It wasn't pretty, but it was absolutely functional. I didn't mind the European aortic stenosis data cutoffs, since those are pretty easy to remember. Since the update, the app requires an internet connection, and some pages don't load quickly. There's an initial, time wasting click to pull up the menu, and multiple additional clicks to navigate. It is essentially non-functional by the standards of the original. I regret updating this. It is far quicker to flip through my hard copies of the ASE guidelines now. You can navigate around but there is no information at all! It’s just blank white squares as you open the app. You can still click on the boxes but since there’s no writing you can’t see what your clicking on. It’s also limited calculations since you can’t input patient details. I’ve tried deleting and downloading the app again but it’s still the same. Obsolete app *2022-02-08* Previously EchoCalc was an App I recommended to all my colleagues, but with the latest version, the built in calculators have been removed effectively eliminating the App’s best function. Disappointing. I hope this is corrected soon. ### 1/5 — Calculator removed *2022-02-07* The updated removed the calf function. This app is now worthless. It’s faster to look at a piece of paper on the wall for cutoffs. ### 1/5 — Rendered useless by its update *2022-02-04* This was a functional and clinically relevant app that I used frequently It provided functionality to determine the different sub-types of Aortic stenosis and provided quick refs to data less used. Now it’s rendered useless and no different from a reference tool for static info that I can get from any source If one is using this tool to look up critical values for valve dysfunction or chamber sizes - then a return to training is called for Sad - I hope it can go back to being a functional clinical tool that was used daily or will need to delete the app and look elsewhere ### 1/5 — Useless *2022-02-03, version 3.31* Since the update which removed the calculator functionality, the app is essentially useless. Very upset and will be deleting. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Easy to use also during echo examination *2021-07-30* Very clear and condensed presentation ### 5/5 — LR Ford *2021-06-06, version 3.0.10* Brilliant app. I use it every day and have done for years but this update has surpassed my expectations. The AS assessment tools are particularly helpful and the inclusion of flow rate saves me a lot of time during low dose dobutamine cases. Prosthetic valve reference ranges are also very helpful. The only slight negative for me is the colouring of the male / female symbols for the calculator. Doesn’t feel entirely necessary to go for pink and blue. Just go for male and female! ### 5/5 — FAB *2021-06-06, version 3.0.10* I have used several Apps over the years for Echo including the older version of the BSE app. This is hands down the most useful, informative & user friendly one.
