I guess no biggie... safari will. ### 3/5 — Almost There *2021-10-20* Love the app, my only request: show the artist, song, and album artwork that is currently playing, you know, like all other music apps do ### 3/5 — Incredible programming, adequate app *2020-10-15, version 4.4.37* The app meets the basic needs, but it would be awesome to skip to the tracks you want, easily see what song is currently playing, and pick up where you left off in a program when reopening the app. Rock solid program though. I love me some Echoes. ### 4/5 — GREAT Service - subpar app *2020-07-14, version 4.4.37* Echoes Online / subscription is lovely - definitely recommend. The app itself is not great. You cannot view songs / playlists from too far ago. You cannot download anything for offline play. The current track is not highlighted while playing. You cannot select which feeds to show in the home page (if you only listen to certain ones, for example). The status of the track / app is lost very easily - restarting it upon relaunches. You cannot favorite items / shows. I am sure there are many features I could think of, but the general point is the app needs quite a bit of work. This is a major point for me. I wish you could also forward past a song you don’t like. When I reopen a program, I wish it would return to the spot I last listened to... if I haven’t finished that particular program. However 1 month into my repaid year long subscription, my login no longer works and no one responds to support requests. Avoid! ### 1/5 — Great Show, Terrible App *2026-07-06, version 12.0.3* I love the Echoes program, but the app is absolutely terrible. It doesn’t show you what’s currently playing (you have to line up the time with artist on a playlist), and now when you click on the playlist, it opens a separate browser. To add hurt to injury, now the app (both iOS and iPadOS) won’t let you log in. Absolutely terrible. Could and should be so much more. ### 1/5 — Can't login any longer under new version *2017-08-29, version 3.8.14* Since Aug 11 update, my login/password no longer work. Epoch have emailed me the credentials, so I know they are being entered correctly. Several emails to various support teams, but not a single reply to correct the problem, just a "promise to have tech support contact you asap". Three weeks later and no contact from them. Meanwhile my paid service time continues to run down, and I cannot even use it. Unbelievable. ### 1/5 — - *2016-04-11, version 3.7.23* While I like that there is a mobile app available for Echoes now, this app is basically unusable at this time. Every time I have tried to stream a program, the stream fails mid-program. It starts skipping (like a scratched CD or LP), and I have to terminate the stream. I have not been able to successfully stream a complete program. ### 1/5 — Love echoes, app has issues *2016-04-02, version 3.7.20* Twice I've reported that the app has issues. It will play for a while, then suddenly start over, play for 5-30 seconds, start over again, play for another 5-30 seconds and keep doing that until you close it. You're just better off streaming from the website than trying to use this app. ### 2/5 — Don’t Judge the Show by the App *2019-07-11, version 4.4.12* I’ve been able to get the app to work correctly only once. Don’t get me wrong. Some parts of the app work just fine, such as listening to Living Room concerts, interview podcasts and Wordless Echoes. But if you’d like to catch up on one or more of the radio shows you missed, forget about it. The Echoes Online section hasn’t loaded since the first day I subscribed. Needless to say, renewing my subscription for use with this app would be foolish. Such a shame for such an incredible show. ### 2/5 — Programs load slowly or not at all *2019-07-07, version 4.4.12* I love echoes and like the idea of having it available on my phone. But the 2 hour programs load very slowly and sometime not at all. I can usually fix it by deleting the whole app and then reinstalling it, but that is time-consuming. Have tried on several devices with high-speed internet with the same results. Being from the Philadelphia area, it’s all Familiar to me as I listened to John and the crew for years before Echoes began. But there is No Other outlet to find what is presented here.
