## What is EchoLit?

Twenty thousand classics, free to read.

EchoLit is a library of over 20,000 public-domain books — Austen,
Dostoevsky, Dickens, Christie, Conan Doyle, Shakespeare — and every one
of them is free to read, as many at a time as you like. No credits, no
rentals, no borrowing queue.

What makes it different is what happens while you read.

FIND THE BOOK YOU HALF-REMEMBER
Describe a scene instead of naming a title. "A boy asks for more gruel
in a workhouse" finds Oliver Twist. "Whale hunting aboard the Pequod"
finds Moby-Dick. Search understands what a book is about, looks inside
the text itself, and tolerates a misspelt author.

A READER BUILT FOR READING
Paper, sepia and night themes. Serif or sans. Text size, line spacing
and justification. Your place is kept across every device you read on,
and books download for reading offline — on a plane, on the tube,
anywhere.

ECHOLIT PLUS — AN AI THAT HAS READ THE BOOK
Ask anything about the story and get an answer grounded in the book,
never a spoiler for a part you haven't reached. Come back after a month
away and get a recap of exactly how far you've read. Select any passage
for a plain-English explanation. See who's who in a long Russian novel.
Play with what-ifs. Keep notes and highlights, synced everywhere.

Plus is $4.99 a month or $49.99 a year. Reading is free and always will be.

Every book is in the public domain and free of digital restrictions.

EchoLit Plus is an optional auto-renewable subscription, monthly or yearly. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and can be managed or cancelled in your App Store account settings.
