## What is EchoMix?

Do you remember making mixtapes where your favourite tracks got played again and again, or being at a party where everyone wanted a turn on the aux? EchoMix brings that spirit back — but smarter. Rate songs from 1 to 5 stars and let your mix favour the tracks you love most, while still keeping things fresh. Build playlists, blend everyone’s taste in a shared session, and take it from your pocket to the car.

Features include:

- Weighted shuffle that plays higher-rated songs more often
- Star-rate tracks as you listen — from the app, CarPlay, or Siri
- Playlists from Apple Music or your Plex music library
- Import playlists and sync them across your devices with iCloud
- Shared sessions: guests nearby can contribute tracks for a group mix over Bluetooth and Wi‑Fi (no account required for guests)*
- Fair-play rotation so every song gets its turn, weighted by how much you love it
- Crossfade between tracks for smoother listening^
- Optional volume leveling and ambient-noise compensation^
- Full CarPlay support for in-car playback, and rating
- Siri and Shortcuts: play a playlist or rate the current song by voice
- Lock Screen and Control Center now playing controls
