Die voreingestellten KI-Stimmen sprechen mich persönlich zwar weniger an, dafür bietet die App die Möglichkeit, eine eigene Stimme zu klonen. Mit leichten Anpassungen im Ton lassen sich dabei sehr angenehme und interessante Ergebnisse erzielen, die sich deutlich besser anhören als die vorgefertigten Stimmen, auch wenn sie nicht unbedingt meiner eigenen Stimme ähneln. Besonders positiv hervorzuheben ist die sehr gute Barrierefreiheit. Die App lässt sich mit VoiceOver auf dem iPhone auch für blinde Personen zuverlässig bedienen. Auf meinem iPhone 16 Pro Max erfolgt die Generierung der geklonten Stimmen, abhängig von der Textlänge, in der Regel zügig. Verbesserungsbedarf sehe ich bei der fehlenden Optimierung für das iPad. Die App lässt sich zwar installieren, wird jedoch lediglich in der iPhone-Ansicht dargestellt. Dadurch entstehen im Querformat links und rechts breite schwarze Balken, und die verfügbare Bildschirmgröße wird nicht vollständig genutzt. Eine native iPad-Anpassung wäre hier sehr wünschenswert, insbesondere da ich die App gerne auf meinem iPad mit M4-Chip nutze, welches gefühlt sogar leistungsstärker arbeitet als mein iPhone. Ein Test mit einem längeren Text von über 35.000 Zeichen hat gezeigt, dass die Generierung über alle Stufen hinweg funktioniert und am Ende eine etwa 30 Minuten lange Audiodatei entsteht. Der Vorgang dauerte ungefähr 30 bis 45 Minuten. Das iPad wurde dabei zwar spürbar warm, lieferte jedoch ein überzeugendes Ergebnis. Ein weiterer Wunsch wäre die Möglichkeit, das Audioformat frei wählen zu können. Aktuell werden die Dateien ausschließlich im WAV-Format exportiert. Ein zusätzliches MP3-Format wäre zeitgemäßer, da die Dateien dadurch deutlich kleiner wären. Derzeit ist es notwendig, die Dateien nachträglich zu konvertieren, obwohl klanglich kaum Unterschiede wahrnehmbar sind. Dies sind kleinere Verbesserungsvorschläge. Insgesamt kann ich die App jedoch uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Der Preis ist angemessen und fair. Besonders hervorzuheben ist, dass die Verarbeitung vollständig lokal auf dem eigenen Gerät erfolgt und auch längere Texte problemlos verarbeitet werden. Leistungsstarke, aktuelle Geräte bieten dabei natürlich Vorteile in Geschwindigkeit und Effizienz.
