Pretty dumb from whoever designed the form format! If this gets changed rest the App & Site both are good! ### 1/5 — Useless app *2026-06-08* Very disappointing experience with this voter-related app. The interface is not user-friendly and the process for updating personal details is confusing. I tried multiple times to change my name and address, but the app either showed errors or did not provide clear instructions. Important services such as voter profile updates should be simple and accessible, but this app makes the process frustrating and time-consuming. Significant improvements are needed in usability, navigation, and error handling. ### 1/5 — Bug while name change *2026-06-05* I want to submit the form for name change(I am just adding surname). It is easy to get to acknowledgement page with all the corrected details but after it asks to eSign and submit. At this stage, it matches the name from adhaar and submissions fails due to name mismatch which totally defeats its purpose. Please fix this bug. ### 2/5 — Complaint is not getting submitted on iPhone 14 Pro OS iOS 26.3.1 *2026-05-23* In many ways the app is helpful but when it comes to raising complaints, it is not user friendly yet. How customers would raise issues and resolve it then? If everything is working seamlessly, it seems like this app feature for submitting complaints has been purposely made inactive to not receive more complaints. If you didn’t want us to use the app then why even build this app and waste Tax Payers money for almost 9 months this bug has been in the app I have reported it so many times but no response at all ### 1/5 — App automatically closes after clicking on District in voter searches *2026-02-16* After last update and this update too, this app is not working after selecting the State, shows District, when clicking the District Name the app automatically Closes. No changes happens. Unable to see the Voter details. ### 2/5 — Bug in app *2026-02-05* Voter registration application got rejected with reason applicant not presented for hearing. But hearing was not scheduled all process from BLO assignment to field verification to ERO assignment to rejection got completed within 2 hour after 15 days of application and no intimation received for physical verification before ERO. It’s very very annoying and disappointing ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Name & Mobile Change *2026-09-03* When i am trying to change Name & Mobile Number it shows error of Name should be in Vernacular Language and could not forward the application a even when i am changing the Name of Applicant while changing the name it not getting the correction so could go aHead to finish the procedure so please Look in to it and rectify the same so we can do the need full ### 1/5 — Not able to process with this new app *2026-08-14* There are so many bugs and so many problems with this app instead of making it user friendly and making it easy to make voter id and changes it created a lot of bugs and troubleshooting in each step even new voter id cannot be made photo cannot be uploaded ### 1/5 — 1⭐️ *2026-08-11* Such a critical service as the voter registration portal should make the process simple and reliable, but unfortunately, this app causes users a lot of unnecessary frustration. I was trying to submit **Form 6** to add my family members as first-time voters. However, despite filling in the details correctly, I failed to submit the form on every attempt. One of the major issues was that the **husband’s name appeared differently from what I had entered, making it impossible to proceed successfully. For something as important as voter registration, these kinds of technical errors are extremely disappointing. The authorities should seriously improve the app’s functionality, data validation, and error handling so that citizens can complete the registration process without repeatedly struggling with technical issues. Please fix these problems urgently. ### 1/5 — This App is useless for corrections *2026-08-04* I am not sure why Government Apps are so useless always. You spend crores and develop bakwas apps. This is very useful app for the entire country and how accurate it should be. It has an option to correct details submitting Form 8 which saves lot of time without visiting BLOs, but unfortunately it is not working and Aadhar Mismatch error even everything is correct. Need lot of improvements in the APP. ### 1/5 — Bug In eSign & Submit *2026-08-02* Ive been trying to update my mobile number agianst my Voter ID, but keep on getting validation messages which gives zero clue of the instance where the issues are present, as a high visibility application used my millions of people we expect a big free and user friendly application. Please fix the issues and if any support is needed in fixing the bug pleadr request the developers to reach me out. ### 1/5 — Aadhar Name Mismatch Issue *2026-07-25* When we try to update the name on the voter id to match the Aadhar, the process fails after the e-sign is complete stating “Aadhar name mismatch”. This is because the current name on the voter id is being compared to the name on the Aadhar. Without this, we are unable to link our mobile and proceed with SIR. Kindly update this workflow as users with name mismatch are unable to proceed forward. ### 1/5 — Worst app *2026-07-19* the user experience is very poor. Every time you click on anything, it asks you to log in again using your phone number and OTP. Even after logging in and accessing a feature, when you are redirected to another page and try to interact further, it again prompts you to enter your login details. The app fails to maintain the session properly, making it extremely frustrating and time-consuming to use. This needs serious improvement. ### 1/5 — Unnecessary Replacement – The Old App Was Better *2026-07-18* The old Voter Helpline app worked well, so I don’t understand why it had to be replaced with ECINET. Instead of discontinuing a functional app, it would have been much better to improve and update it. The new app feels like a step backward. It is less user-friendly, and basic tasks have become more difficult. I have been unable to update my wife’s details or change our address properly, which has been very frustrating. This change feels unnecessary and gives the impression that replacing the old app was prioritized over improving the user experience. The focus should be on making essential public services reliable, simple, and efficient—not forcing users to adapt to a new app that performs worse than the previous one. I am very disappointed with this change and hope the developers seriously consider user feedback and fix these issues as soon as possible. ### 1/5 — To the app developer *2026-07-10* While changing the the name of the applicant , during acknowledgement last step updated name is not showing only “Name” parameter is showing so while submitting every time it is giving same error like Aadhar mismatch but I have given a correct name as like Aadhar please look in to it while doing acknowledgement the changed value should show updated one thank you ### 1/5 — Need A lot of Hard work *2026-06-22* After submitting form8 no reference number given on email or on mobile number. And you can’t submit new application as its showing previous request is under process and there is no way to track it. Old election ID card reference (not current EPIC) ### 4/5 — Very useful app *2026-02-15* The app’s functionality is excellent; however, a few issues need attention: • The appeal description field allows only 10 characters, which prevents successful submission. • Unknown names are appearing in the recent search history. ### 3/5 — App performance and few UX issues *2026-07-16* App always crashes in declaration page which is after filling up pages and attaching several files. Frustrating to do this again and again with repeated failures and final inability to submit. Why isn’t typing and selecting allowed in dropdown? Some of the dropdown values are 250+. Can you imagine scrolling through them to find a value that you need? ### 3/5 — Login issue *2026-07-16* Very disappointing experience. I am completely unable to use the app because the login process is broken. Every time I enter my mobile number, verify the OTP, and tap Login, the app simply takes me back to the login screen and asks me to log in again. It keeps happening in a loop, making the app unusable. Please fix this issue as soon as possible. ### 3/5 — Form 8 eSign Aadhaar Name Mismatch Bug *2026-07-09* There is a critical bug in the ECINET app. While filing Form 8 to correct my name, the application reaches the eSign step but fails with the error “Aadhaar Name Mismatch.” The purpose of Form 8 is to update the voter details to match Aadhaar. If the app blocks submission because the existing voter name doesn’t match Aadhaar, users cannot complete the name correction process. Please fix this validation bug as soon as possible. Many users may be unable to submit their Form 8 due to this issue. ### 3/5 — Not upto expectations *2026-05-31* I’ve been trying to update my mobile number and date of birth via this app for a long time but still not getting the positive response.
