For example, when checking my schedule, it shows patients that are booked, but does not show blocks in my schedule. So, if I want to add an appointment, I can’t because I might be adding it in a blocked time. For what it does do, though, it seems to accurately reflect what is shown in the desktop/web/plug-in version. ### 2/5 — App *2026-05-13, version 8.7.0* Pretty worthless app other than seeing my schedule, using the AI feature and seeing messages. Can’t sent Rx through the app which means I still have to have my laptop with me when traveling ### 3/5 — MD REVIEW *2026-02-26, version 8.5.0* Need notes to get covermy meds prior with trying to download on phone my note but it is just a nightmare not helpful did not occur. ECS makes things too difficult Great use for Tele visits instead of computer or laptop. However when connected by WiFi (only way to connect) using highest level WiFi 5G It cuts off connection and have to sign out of ecw or when try reconnect it says “already have connection with this pt” So cuts off connection frequently and cannot reconnect to pt. Phone is set for face sign in or finger. When it cuts off it requires type user id password and special security code. Then sometimes still says still connected to the pt (can’t reconnect) have to call pt apologize no Tele visit Fix it please ; we have televisit pt completes questionnaire and vitals before waiting for Dr visit When Dr connects click to download pt hx and responses. It comes across with 7 responses for answer Like: 6 med.records, 7 med rec , 6 med records, (ie it is putting last 7 questioairre results in the saved medical record. For ROS for each separate Respiratory Shortness of breath it says no medical. Records, no medical records, no medical records or yes medical records yes medical records (The no is pt question yes or no to shortness of breath ( we end up erasing the no med… and sexting agrees for yes and denies for no answer ( some reason ecw ### 2/5 — MD *2026-01-16, version 8.4.0* Still very clunky to use either in laptop or phone mode. This is the worst EHR ever; it crashes all the time, making our already busy lives even worse. ### 1/5 — Bad!!! *2025-04-13, version 7.8.0* So hard to log in! Gives a loop of filling in phone password over and over. There’s a setting that you can set where it keeps. You logged in theoretically for two hours, but if you are not using it for about three minutes, it will let you login and then immediately as soon as you try to do anything, tell you that it failed and make you log out and re-login. ### 1/5 — Barely usable *2025-04-05, version 7.8.0* This app is incredibly frustrating - slow performance, constant glitches, and minimal useful functionality. It feels half-finished and unreliable. Definitely needs major improvements to be practical for daily use. Doctors should not have to click here, click there select this, select that, find an icon off the screen, ad infinitum. ### 1/5 — Worst ever *2026-07-23, version 8.9.0* I have used at least a dozen EMR systems, and eCW is hands-down the absolute WORST. Completely non-intuitive, hundreds of unnecessary clicks, convoluted in every possible way. You’d think they could come up with something even remotely better than this mess. ### 1/5 — Painful *2026-07-02, version 8.8.1* There’s no way to have the app use a 3rd party dialer like ring central or Doximity. If you use your iPhone to enter patient pictures into the chart, the volume buttons don’t activate the shutter, and you can’t zoom. Would love to have it be a little bit more accurate on where it places information inside the chart. But this is 9000 light years ahead of typing by hand. Gracias y’all! ### 5/5 — Can be great *2023-11-17, version 6.8.6* This product is really about what you put into it and being patient. The voice recognition software is really good. It allows you to be able to have your entire note nearly completed except for most of your orders. At first the product was definitely not where it needed to be however it has evolved significantly to the point that I would recommend it for most providers. They keep on adding new features which really makes a difference in allowing us to be able to complete our tasks and have excellent notes at the end of the day. I mainly use it when I am not in the office to be able to complete my chart notes.if you were having issues, I would strongly recommend reading user guides and finding out the different waste prompts that can give you the better features to use ### 5/5 — Such a nice surprise *2019-09-21* This is a no-added cost component to the continuously improving Eclinicalworks electronic medical record. We are in our 10th year now of using Eclinicalworks and have found incremental improvement in the portal, messenger and interoperability. V10 web-based version refreshes the interface and adds some new useful features. This mobile app works well and is a big help on call to review diagnosis, lab history and make a new phone encounter. I reviewed labs waiting at the dentist yesterday. There is a lot of pressure to switch to Epic from large health systems - but ECW continues to compete for our business as independent practices. This Ap is a good enhancement. ### 5/5 — Dragon/escribe *2019-04-20, version 4.6.3* I’m excited to see that I can scribe using my mic on the phone. Initially data was lost because I didn’t hit the scribe button which syncs the mobile data with the clinic data live. This has enabled me to work faster and see more patients 👍🏽👍🏽 ### 4/5 — Room for improvement of a very useful EMR *2025-02-11* The support staff always respond promptly and very proficient. I wish there is suggestion button to submit ideas directly through eCW rather than eclinical university. We usually don’t have time to long into a different site in the middle of work day. We also dread the call back in the middle of work day. It would be best to have a link in eCW or a record button for suggestions. These are not complaints but rather enhancements requests.
