It is a shame because it has the potential to be more more efficient than a laptop but is incredibly frustrating to have to constantly log-back into ECW. Occasionally parts of the progress note panel will completely disappear and I have to delete the app completely to restore that panel to bill for the visit and put info for next appt etc. Pleaseeeee upgrade this APP to be more effective for doctors trying to finish notes in a timely fashion ### 1/5 — Awful update *2021-06-02, version 3.8.8* Let’s me login but shuts down not even a minute in. ### 1/5 — Horrible *2021-05-30, version 3.8.8* Cannot use new app. Keeps saying “unable to use,another user is using. Cannot use for data consistency “ unbelievable when I need to get into patient’s charts. Again horrible!! ### 5/5 — Improved *2021-05-17, version 3.8.7* We upgraded our version to the newest 11e and had to get version 3.8. At first they were a few glitches but overall the eclinical touch experience has improved. Our clinic is 100% on eclinical touch, we are a full scope FQHC clinic with over 50 daily users and for us it has been working as expected. There are a few glitches on the iPad Pro but overall you can get through and write an efficient progress note-we have not experienced any crashes whatsoever. I completely understand the small lag in terms of functionality and compatibility with every new iOS that comes out. The core functionalities of eclinical touch for us have been working well. We absolutely love eclinical touch and look forward to future improvements and added functions. Thanks eclinical touch team! ### 1/5 — Horrible *2021-05-05, version 3.8.7* Crashes constantly. Tech support is useless, none of them speak English well enough to even understand the problem. Follow through doesn’t happen. Find a different EMR. ### 2/5 — Upgrade is way too buggy *2021-05-01, version 3.8.6* I upgraded to v3.8 last week from previous version because my clinic upgraded server security. I found the previous version to be intuitive and pretty much complete for my purposes except for having to use the desktop version to create favorites. Now eCT crashes after editing 3-4 charts even with only one chart open at a time. It crashes when sending electronic prescriptions and when closing the HPI window. Music from the native iOS Music app won’t play with eCT v3.8 open. It is annoying but not deal-breaking to have to tap a couple of extra new places to advance toward note closure ### 1/5 — Frustrating *2021-04-21, version 3.8.6* We’ve been using ECW for about 5 years now, and every upgrade has been more of a downgrade. I realize that there’s no such thing as a perfect EMR, but for the cost of this product, I could not give more than 1 star. I wish the developers would look at all the issues and actually listen to the users. I started out initially with high hopes but it’s been disappointing. ### 1/5 — Buyer Beware *2021-04-18, version 3.8.6* Eclinical works is really a horrible company and program. Very buggy poor programming technique, every update contains undetected significant bugs that stop workability until addressed, constant programming error messages as you work in “debugged” versions”, work arounds are the norm, they provide poor support, they want to close the “ticket” at all costs despite not fixing the problems, if I could say in a word “amateurs”. They were fined $155 million dollars for falsifying certification standard, The Office of Inspector General (OIG), one year after that huge fine demanded another fine, $132500.00 for failing to report patient safety issues with its EHR. Buyer Beware ### 1/5 — Can’t use on new devices *2021-04-14, version 3.8.6* I recently purchased a new iPad Pro in December and unfortunately this software is not compatible with my device. When there is a patient scheduled on my Eclinicalworks, the app spins and crashes. If there is no scheduled patient then I can access and load up the app. I have submitted tickets to Eclinical and no one has been able to fix this. The app works fine on my older iPad device without any complication.
