Eclipse has been a total lifesaver. Other screen time control apps never work longer than an afternoon for me, but this one has actually made my phone boring. I’ve cut screen time down by about 3 hours a day over the past couple of weeks. Would highly recommend.

Really innovative solution to an increasingly hard problem. Easy install and fast results cutting my daily screentime by around 2 hours a day. Google, Meta, and Twitter are all vying for you attention to their apps and have almost perfected keeping you locked into for as long as possible. Eclipse takes a better approach than other apps and tech out there. Give it a try!

- New users setting up Eclipse now have 2 fewer steps — Eclipse Focus mode is no longer required during onboarding.

- Setting your schedule in shortcuts no longer locks the screen in grayscale. Easier selection process.
- Overlapping schedules are now flagged before you save. No more silent conflicts.

Improved:
- Day picker on windows now runs Sun–Sat, matching iOS.
- App timer simplified to minutes only — the hour wheel is gone.
- Notifications no longer say "Tap Sync Now." Your automations run automatically; notifications just confirm it happened.
- Profile now shows 7-day, 30-day, and 90-day usage with a proper grid. No more empty screen.
- Eclipse break shortcut updated to 30 minutes default

- Screen time limits now include a break option — Eclipse App limit breaks stay in sync with your app limits.
- Grayscale and Grayscale Breaks setup screens now loop with audio.
