## What is Eclipta?

Eclipta respects your privacy from the first tap. All portrait information is processed locally on your device and stays on your iPhone or iPad. When you actively delete a photo, video, or creation record, that information is removed from your device. Eclipta does not collect biometric face data, facial recognition templates, or faceprints.

Eclipta is a dark-themed portrait studio for cinematic lighting atmosphere. Upload one portrait from your photo library, pick a light template, and use local AI to create still images or short motion portraits with halos, bokeh, meteors, and petals around your subject.

On the Create tab, choose Image or Video, import a single portrait, select a category, adjust effect strength, and generate. Image mode uses local AI image processing for your chosen style. Video mode uses local AI to add gentle motion with 5, 6, 8, or 10 second duration options. Portrait data on the upload screen is handled locally on your device.

Eight templates sit in four local AI groups: Halo (Soft Halo, Radiant Halo), Light Spot (Bokeh Spots, Prism Spots), Meteor (Meteor Trail, Meteor Shower), and Petal (Falling Petals, Petal Glow).

Before local AI runs, tune effect strength from subtle to strong. For video, set how long the local AI clip should play. A progress view tracks each local AI session until preview opens.

Records stores local AI images and videos on your device. Preview full size, save to your photo library, share with the system sheet, or re-edit in Create with the same portrait and a new template. Manage mode deletes items you no longer want; removed files leave your device storage.

Settings offers How to Use steps, Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, and a Face Data disclaimer repeating that information is processed locally, kept only on your device, and not used to build facial profiles.

Local AI powers halo glow, bokeh drift, meteor streaks, and petal motion while you keep control of personal images. Dark UI and focused steps make local AI portrait editing straightforward for moody stills or clips.

Eclipta does not collect facial data. Local processing, on-device storage, and user-led deletion define how your portraits are handled. Read the in-app Privacy Policy, then create with local AI lighting tools for privacy-minded users.
