### 2/5 — Whats going on

*2026-04-05, version 8.1.0*

### 2/5 — Low pricing

*2026-02-25, version 8.0.0*

### 1/5 — Fake advertisement

*2026-02-10, version 7.4.2*

Promised to lock offer for 7 days came back within 2 hours and didn’t recognized the code nor the email. Called customer service provided name and email and was advised nothing could be done.

### 1/5 — Offer up

*2026-02-03, version 7.4.2*

Almost brand new iPhone 16 you try to offer me $200 and low ball by a lo the next lowest offer out of 11 others was $332 And my last offer was $444 and if you would like to match at least the next lowest price of $332 I would be at the closest machine within 30 mins if you do and fair business at a fair rate if so email or call thanks 336 538). 3498 thanks

### 2/5 — Function and prices

*2026-01-12, version 7.4.2*

You can use it to recycle any phone that doesn’t work for you and get a couple of dollars, it’s functional. However, for real prices it seems to me a robbery that I pay you two dollars for a functional phone or just over three hundred for a state-of-the-art iPhone!

### 2/5 — If you’re desperate

*2026-01-04, version 7.4.2*

EcoATM is a worse come to worse type of demo. Got $150 for a 16 pro. And $200 something for a 17 pro. Very down bad only type of thing. Would not recommend

### 4/5 — Great

*2025-12-18, version 7.4.2*

Quick, fast, free

### 1/5 — Wasted time

*2025-10-03, version 7.4.2*

Went to a kiosk with an iPhone 13 Pro and it had troubles connecting. Then it identified it as 2 different brands.

### 1/5 — Scam Service

*2025-09-04, version 7.4.0*

Received a promotional code which was not recognized! Their ATM at WalMart would not recognize the code I was sent by ecoATM. I would have been better off selling to a Pawn Shop!

Received a response from the Developer asking me to call or email. I called and spoke with someone who apologized stating that I should have called when my code was not accepted, and they would have given me another code. He added that their ATMs don’t always recognize the promotional codes that are given out! He also offered to give me another code to use on my next sale! I explained in an email that EcoAtm should reimburse me the $23.00 I lost in my transaction!

My advice to anyone who will read this, don’t use EcoAtm they are not interested in paying fair market value!

### 1/5 — Lie

*2025-07-19, version 7.4.0*

They told me after their kiosk took my phone 4 weeks later and now their finally sending me the phone back after multiple phone calls and emails at first they told me they would send me a check for the phone then 2 weeks later and they send a email saying their sending the phone back after I threaten to call the cops I will never deal with them again they lie

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2025-07-14, version 7.3.0*

Price offers and machines are just garbage. You would be way better off just selling your device to a real person

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Scam

*2026-08-15, version 8.4.0*

Bait and switch. Kiosk doesn’t allow me to connect my phone. A waste of time

### 1/5 — Unpredictable Kiosks

*2026-08-15, version 8.4.0*

I decided to sell my cell phone to ecoATM because you get paid moments after arriving at the kiosk. Well, my phone sold for $346, and asked if I wanted it in cash, Venmo, or PayPal. I chose cash. The kiosk spit out $86, and then it pops up on the screen with a notification saying- I’m embarrassed, with the large amount that I had to find another option to
Withdraw, and quickly showed a number to call, but was so quick I couldn’t tell u if it was the same as the customer service number that I called. Waited for over 35 mins first time and got disconnected while waiting for an agent. Then called back and waited another 15-20 mins. Wad ridiculous. Then i germs told that i have to wait 7-10 days for a check in the mail! I def should have read the reviews first.

### 1/5 — Walmart Chino

*2026-08-05, version 8.3.0*

The machine does not produce a QR ticket. In order to continue the process the QR ticket is needed.

### 1/5 — No

*2026-07-25, version 8.3.0*

not working price any device

### 1/5 — YIKES

*2026-07-11, version 8.3.0*

To say what they pay is low-ball is an understatement. $32 for an I-pad with no issues, not even a scratch on it. Sell an I-pad for less than 1/4 tank of gas or 2 Big Mac meals? Zero sense was made

### 1/5 — Luv6500

*2026-06-28, version 8.3.0*

Yes, every time I go to the store and try to use this service it blocked me somehow and when I got on the phone to customer service, I stayed on there for about over an hour. He tried to help me and he says that he don’t see anything wrong with my ID. I don’t have anything that should be blocking me or nothing and it’s been this way for over a year or so I cannot get rid of anything that I have you all need to fix this. Please fix this. I have nothing wrong with my ID. They checked it nothing I stood there all that long time they tried to fix it .

### 1/5 — App doesn’t work

*2026-05-08, version 8.2.0*

Used it once. It was fine. Will not recognize email and did not get a reply from customer service.

### 1/5 — This app is so bad

*2026-04-13, version 8.1.0*

Doesn’t even show you where the locations that are off and the ones that don’t take tablets. So it will make you go over to where you THINK takes them but the entire time they don’t and you just wasted so much time.

### 1/5 — about the worst!

*2026-03-25, version 8.1.0*

the most time consuming atm on the planet, ended up not working on a perfectly good phone for it quickly. though maybe payout for some I guess.

### 1/5 — Pricing

*2026-03-17, version 8.0.0*

It gives horrible prices for phones that are almost a thousand dollars and brand new

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great

### 5/5 — ❤️❤️❤️❤️

### 5/5 — Good app

*2026-08-08, version 8.3.0*

Good app

### 5/5 — $30-$60 Perfect $6.00

*2026-07-08, version 8.3.0*

7 Plus “Red” Edition what a scam, yes I turned in 4 IPhones charged screen, fine, no blemishes GB good the app stated before I took them to the kiosk that it was my “” lucky day and I would get $90 no I got six dollars for the limited red iPhone. I guess if you’re desperate times call for desperate measures and after all you are helping the environment. If I could post a photo of this phone here to see the excellent condition then U2 would see that you were getting ripped off.

*2026-02-13, version 7.4.2*
