They work ok but I feel tech and tech support could be much better. You can’t speak to anyone directly. You have to wait for an email. It’s tedious. Also the device often has syncing issues and if disconnected from the network ( happens CONSTANTLY) you have to manually reconnect it doesn’t auto connect. Too much money for a PIA ### 2/5 — WiFi connect painful *2026-02-20, version 6.9.0* Just spent the last hour trying to get this device to connect to my wifi. I specifically assigned it to a 2.4ghz channel only and there was no way this was working. I then switched to another wifi that had 2.4, 5 and 6 ghz and it randomly connected anyhow. Improvements needed. ### 1/5 — Terrible UI *2026-01-19, version 6.9.0* Going to set up account and the last field required (current mitigation) to advance page is hidden from view so there’s no way to set up the acct. ### 1/5 — Please fix your app ASAP *2025-12-27, version 6.9.0* In the last month only (after using this for about a year with infrequent issues), I don’t get consistent up to date readings when I open the app. First of all there is a delay (a login screen appears briefly before the reading loads) but often multiple times in one day i will have to rejoin/reenter my wifi network/password to view the current radon level…often this is also after seeing a message that says “Last synced …hrs …mins ago” and hourly data has not being recorded for however long the device had been offline. I was quite happy with the product up until recently. Please fix, it really is important to have accurate information as I adjust the ventilation in my living space through the day based on the readings from your device. ### 1/5 — app crashes *2025-09-23, version 5.6.0* app crashes, wifi connection finds nothing first 10 searches ### 3/5 — Not Quite Ready for Prime Time *2025-09-02, version 5.6.0* When my partner synchs with the sensor, the app kicks me off, making the app a bit less useful than one might want. UI is a bit kludgy, too, with registering a device involving a long list of info to put in, but the Next button way up at the top of the screen, leading me to have to hunt for it a couple of times. ### 1/5 — Excellent when it works but that’s unfortunate rare *2025-08-16, version 5.6.0* It frequently disconnects and for hours at a time. It’s very hard to recommend the Eco Qube EQ100 when this is a constant issue on a mesh network, despite creating a separate 2.4 GHz IoT network I still cannot get a reliable connection. ### 1/5 — Worst app ever *2025-07-22, version 5.6.0* Wont even pull up the list of available wifi to connect to. Keep loading on searching wifi…….. ### 2/5 — dashboard (all devices) problem *2025-04-06, version 4.3.0* Please fix the app so it pulls and reports the current data automatically. In "All devices" view, the current readings are not displayed. One must tap each device to "tickle" the most current readings. This is annoying for short-term mitigation, i.e. venting house, turning on/off fans, furnace/AC, whatever. The user needs to know the effect of their mitigation actions. If measurements are pulled by each device every 10 minutes, the expectation is the app will display the most recent results of all devices every 10 minutes. This issue was reported over a year ago. Come on. ### 1/5 — Won’t find any Wifi networks *2024-12-07, version 3.9.1* App gets to the step or searches for Wi-Fi networks and just sit there spinning forever. Uninstalled and reinstalled app. Cycled airplane mode. Have tons of other IoT devices with 0 issues. Seems to be a common complaint ### 2/5 — Poor App Development *2024-05-29, version 3.1.1* The application development appears incomplete with no recovery when users return to previous screen or resume initial setup. For example, you have to enter your address again even though the data appears on the form. It will not save info from previous screen and provides the user with a blank form. Other elements seem to lack integration with current phone capabilities requiring manual updates by the user. Hope the device was engineered with more thought than the application. ### 1/5 — Not a good experience *2024-02-09, version 1.8.3* Needing continuous wifi is not good and then only allowing 5 GHz is ridiculous ### 3/5 — Latest update broke setup *2024-02-09, version 1.8.3* When working, it's a good app, hence the 3 stars. After naming and setting location for new device, WiFi comes up for 1-2 seconds, then the app crashes. ChatGPT recognizes this issue but can’t work around issue. So can’t use the software. Looks like a frequent issue, even if you have a 2.4ghz network for it. Not worth troubleshooting when easily replaced by product with better accessibility and similar (if not better) functionality. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Used for 3 years, rock solid app *2026-07-16, version 7.1.5* I have 4 ecocubes installed in our large basement. Every few days I check them and it also sends notifications via the app and via an led (red) if there are issues. The app is rock solid, one of the most reliable monitoring apps I own. Also had zero issue setting up the ecocubes. I installed these after a large radon remediation activity. I have tested by turning off the radon fan and at least once a gfci outlet shut the fan off. In all cases the app rapidly reports the rise in radon. ### 5/5 — Works great! *2025-12-17, version 6.9.0* This app and the EcoQube are working great. I’ve had the device in service for about 6 weeks at this point and no issues to report. I have an enhancement request. When selecting all devices in the app, it shows both devices and their last reading but not current readings. Can you make it so it shows latest reading or at least give a refresh button to show latest reading for all devices? It would be nice to see the latest readings under all devices so I wouldn’t have to go to the individual sensors.
