It works on Android fine. The apple version is useless. **Developer response:** Hello. Thank you for the review, in the next version which is 4.6.2 we made improvements that should solve this. In the app you can send feedback directly to the developers, let us know if it does not work or there is something else we can do to improve the app. ### 1/5 — Garbage *2025-08-06* Absolutely terrible app if you can even get things started and logged in. Garbage app. Don’t waste your time. ### 1/5 — Lacking *2025-08-04* When you receive a UPS notification at 3 AM there are two critical components that somebody needs to know. 1) what is the issue 2) did the issue resolve Number one is handled well by the app. Number 2 can be improved upon. There is no timestamp on the event starting, no duration. A resolved alert can take up to 10 minutes to come through. Where this matters is when you have a power flicker. You receive an alert that the power dropped out, but can take upwards of 10 minutes to know if if the situation was just a flicker or a total loss of power. If it's just a flicker, you can go back to sleep. If it's a total loss of power, there's intervention needed. Another case might be if your site has an unmonitored generator. It can take upwards of 10 minutes for you to know if the generator turned on. In our case, we have monitored generator and that monitoring tells us that the generator is up and running long before Ecostruxture does. Once the alert is categorized as cleared, and you go to cleared alerts, you do not see a duration or a starting timestamp. You only see a cleared timestamp. **Developer response:** Thank you for sharing your feedback! The reason alarm appears to be clearing late in the app is due delayed clearing of alarms settings enabled in the ITE Expert web-application. This feature helps prevent flooding you with repeat notifications when the same device alarm triggers again within a short period—it keeps the alarm open and updates the repeat counter instead of sending a new one. If you’d like alarms to clear faster, your administrator can adjust this setting in IT Expert > Administration > Organization > Device alarm clearing delay settings (default is 7 minutes, can be set from 0–20). Push notification will help with email-> sms being retired by all cell vendors. ### 1/5 — Forced Update Stress *2025-07-17* Everytime I need to use the app for an emergency, I go to open it & it says you need an update to continue. I frantically update the app, only to have my biometric stop working & require password. Then it requires a multifactor, which is on the same app, which when I type the code, it says it’s wrong. I don’t download an app, so every time I want to use it, I have to spend 50 minutes getting it to work. USELESS!! **Developer response:** Hello. In the app you can send feedback directly to the developers, let us know if it does not work or there is something else we can do to improve the app. ### 1/5 — Latest Update Broke the App *2023-04-17* Since the last update any time you try to view a monitored device, you just get a 403 error. ### 3/5 — Poorly Organized and Buggy *2022-02-10* For iPhone: The app is just OK. When you click on a device, you can’t see the cases underneath of it. You have to go into the “incidents” section and search for your device. Just not very intuitive to do it this way. You also cannot search for a device via IP address, even though the app shows what the IP of the device is once you click on it. Typing is also strange. It’s almost as if the app is not recognizing auto-correct. Example, you start a new sentence and you have to manually capitalize the first letter of the word. For iPad: Same complaints about the layout, but typing is far worse. I am using a Bluetooth keyboard for the iPad, and only when using the EcoStruxure app do I get duplicates or even triple of the same letter I typed added in. Example: “address” becomes “addddreeeesss” somehow. This is incredibly odd behavior.
