The app works great.  My only request is to get it to work with CarPlay.  It would be nice to be able to switch maps through CarPlay as well as use the gauges and be able to do data logs all while using the app through my radio.

Hello developers at ecutek, 

I truly appreciate the tuning platform you guys provide on Subarus, 

BUT can you make it work on apply CarPlay? Make a widget or something. so that I don’t need a phone to see the parameters, I can just look at it on my screen!

Literally nothing is easy with this POS - constantly get refusals to flash, citing nonexistent problems with gear in parking or interior fan, super finicky about battery voltage, as in literally on jumper cables, battery at 12.5-13v and still won’t flash, zero transmission logging, a pain all around. 

 Also, it’s impossible to find a good ecutek tuner, none of the shops will do it if they didn’t build your car themself, so good luck if you ever do any of your own work. Use Motec or something else if you don’t hate yourself.

I’m not sure if this is a flaw or not. I really wish ECUTek would go through whatever process needs to be done for the app to work with car play. Lock out functions while the car is moving if you have to, my music folders with iTunes does that. I want to display my dashboard on my cars screen, without the need of a stupid carlink box using my phone as a hot spot. I really don’t understand how gauges wouldn’t get approved.

This app is pretty good. I only have a two suggestions:

1. There should be a CarPlay/AndroidAuto version of this app so that dashboards can be viewed from a vehicles built-in infotainment system.

2. There should be a way to modify a dashboard for a vehicle even if there is no demo vehicle option for it without having to be connected to it. (I.E. VR30DDTT Gen2 Vehicles)

This app is great. I have zero complaints about the actual performance, layout, ui/ etc. In fact, I am very very pleased with how simple this is. Menus are where you expect them to be, and buttons work as expected with 0 uncertainty of purpose. As far as apps go, this is great. 

My only issue, and it’s not an issue so much as a request to the developers:
Please add CarPlay support!

Starting data logging, looking at the dash board, setting launch control rpm, etc is a real pain to do on a phone, especially when there is an available interface to do to integrated into the car already. If it’s as simple as app mirroring, CarPlay would make a world of a difference. Developers: please add it!

Z1 Motorsports has been very helpful to remotely tune my 370Z, with this app. I have had very few issues with the app itself, other than a few errors, which frankly probably saved my ECU from frying itself. 

My only suggestion with my experience is to add a simple timer into the start / stop button of the logging feature. With my remote tuning process I have had to log 30 second intervals of data, which a timer would come a in handy a lot!

Fantastic app, I use it for data logging and displaying gauges on my radio in my FRS. It has custom triggers and warnings and the interface is super customizable. Only reason I give it 4 stars is because there’s no option to make it say “danger to manifold” when a custom alarm trigger is tripped

C’è poco da dire… se si attacca il dongle BT, dopo 5 minuti va in pappa il tpms e inizia il bombardamento di errori :(. Questa cosa va avanti da 4 anni, mai risolta. Quindi di conseguenza l app senza il dongle, serve a poco.

Love the app that works with my hardware and the customisability of the in app dashboard display. Ease of function with the switchable maps option (car and tuner dependent I guess) is also amazing!

Only mod request I would have is to integrate with Apple CarPlay (maybe that other OS too 🙄) as that would be amazing!!

Dont want to put 1 star because hopefully this gets fixed soon and dont want the devs to get a bad rep for something that will be fixed hopefully soon, but the app simply isnt opening, showing loading screen then crashes over and over again
